So....my son has a pokemon card that could be worth up to $1000!! I know about comic grading but not card grading!! Looks to me to be mint using my comic knowledge - no dings, dents etc Ok...maybe 1 small edge indent and the card has a curve to it (from being in the deck/package - nothing severe but not 100% flat) Looks like everyone uses PSA - is there a pressing service for cards?? does that slight curve even matter? cant seem to find a card grading scale like our Overstreet one with defects by grade listed. any help would be greatly appreciated!! |

Hmmm....found a grading scale on PSA's site...no real help there. Not sure if what I'm seeing on the edge is a printing/bindery defect (micro small) and no mention about slight curvature to cards.... Like comics there is a big jump from 9 to 10 in prices...although even at 9 that card appears to be decent cash.....should I tell him that since I bought the cards for him that it is really mine thank-you!! |

Apparently it is possible to press cards. There is a mention that hero restoration did it or knew who can do it. Even Beckett mentions it can be done, although they don't say who does it. My suggestion is to contact comic presser and asking them if they do it or know who does.... |
