My Terrificon pick ups were all newsstands. ASM 324. The wrap on a majority of the 320s were horrendous. Filling in holes in my Toddfather ASM covers Love yellow covers. Had to grab this one before Gunn’s Creature Commandos comes out on HBO MAX |

2nd appearance of Creature Commandos. Should have gotten their first appearance pre-Gunn at DC and when it was still affordable. |

Daredevil 248 1st appearance of Bushwacker. Mark Jewelers Copy. These inserts were smack in the middle of the book and as a kid I used to rip these inserts out the second we got home from the PX/BX. If only I knew what I know now. Cover has a real janky looking Wolverine. |

@HulkSmash Quote:Originally Posted by HulkSmash Why Daredevil couldn’t fight goons instead of security guard robots is beyond me. It was the 80s, everyone loved robots. Wouldn’t be surprised if it was because Short Circuit came out a year before. It looks like an evil Johnny 5. “No disassemble” |

@Hcanes that was late 80's super saturated Wolverine. I love the just starting to be overused Wolverine of the early 80's |

Not really new but rediscovered. My parents found more of my comics at their house. I took what I wanted, let my little cousin take the early spawn newsstands, and the rest will be dropped off at the LCS in their area. A lot of late 80s to early 90s newsstands with the Mark Jeweler Insert removed were in that batch. All of these were from the base exchange (PX/BX) Full set of the first volume of Marvel vs DC & Amalgam Comics (minus Marvel vs DC 2 and Bruce Wayne Agent of Sheild. The ones published by DC were newsstand but didn’t get the barcode. DC published ones do have UPC labels, but for whatever reason the PX at Ft Campbell didn’t. That’s why some of them have the white box. |

More newsies I brought back home and saved from donation. In the 90s everything was “spectacular” and it seemed everyone had their own limited run. |
