Picked up some books at my local today

Picked this up as I have the original art piece from the Sub-mariner story.

And picked up some other books for fun.

It's very addicting. I'm currently looking at an Italian set and trying to talk myself out of pulling the trigger lol.

Likewise @BrianGreensnips. Check it out, I modified the loader so I could hang Change up. Granted it doesn’t do it much justice but until I can frame it I can look at it instead of storing it away in the Itoya. Also new to my collection today but not pictured is a sack of jerky. Mmmmmmmmmmm..... jeeeeerrrrkkkyyyy...🀀

Awesome buddy, I just read the book by following the link you posted. The story is so old school, I loved it.

Thanks!

@martymann I understand from the covers that there was a time when Captain Marvel was the largest distribution comic in the world. Right now I think SHAZAM is the best thing DC has going as far as movie franchises. I think there is a realistic chance that SHAZAM will have his day again and the popularity of old Captain Marvel books could start approaching Batman and Superman. That hunch is one of the reasons I'm attracted to Captain Marvel books in particular as very reasonably priced investment opportunities. However when comparing to Batman and Superman it's important to understand the available quantities. An early Captain Marvel Adventures is far, far easier to find than an early Batman or Superman comic.

I traded for this a week ago from my local collectibles guy, it's a little beat up but it's Legion key with six 1st appearances. What's not to like about a bunch of tiny Supermen beating on Supergirl with rocks and telephone poles? LOL!
