@Scifinator Is it THAT PARTICULAR 356 or just ASM 356, in general? I think I might have an idea.

For a little more context, I had 3 CBCS Certified ASM 356's at 9.6 to choose from to send @esaravo. Why did I send this particular one of the three?

All the books are from the same order, so they have the same serial numbers except for the last 3 digits.

Here are two books I recently got for my birthday. One from my wife (with some coaching from me) and the other I bought for myself.

Here's the book from my wife. She picked this one from a list of books that I gave her because she liked Superman giving blood on the cover. 😄 It took two weeks for USPS to deliver it from Kentucky but it finally arrived. I was really happy (and surprised) to find a raw copy of this one in such nice shape. It tends to fly under the radar since it's a Lois Lane issue but it contains the 2nd appearance of Brainiac.

Here is the book I bought myself. I think I slightly overpaid but 1) I had some funds available from recently selling a couple of other books here on the forum, 2) it had a nice straight wrap and white pages and 3) it was my birthday, damn it!! 😄

@DWeeB1967

Both nice books, but the ghost rider is my favorite.

Thanks, @Jabberwookie.

I expect most folks here will second you on that. I'm really happy with it too.

Still, the Silver Age DC collectors among us will appreciate how hard any 60's SA book, much less an issue from one of the less-mainstream titles, is to find in nice shape. It being Braniac's second appearance makes it all the better.

Somebody is selling these Warren archive printers pages on EBay. This one is cyan and yellow;

So I got this cyan and yellow one too for the fun of it, my favorite color is green. I’m gonna figure out how to put them side by side, somewhere here.

Overpriced box but I bought it anyway. If I could find the old one that was Optimus as a short box, and his trailer was a long box, then I would buy that too.

Got these yesterday

Been watching this one for a year or two.

Edit: Just now that I posted it I noticed for the first time that the label says its part of the DNA Collection. This is the first pedigree book I have ever owned and it was purely by accident.

Tales Of Suspense 97

X-Men Annual 14

In all seriousness, that's awesome.

Another classic cover I've wanted for some time, but could never find at a grade I was happy with. Still would like to eventually upgrade this, but jumped on it since prices are increasing with a 6.0 just selling at HA for over $1600! Happy with the white pages and cover colors and quality.

An impulse buy- So much so that I wasn't aware they'd come in these "graded" mini slabs from "WCG". My wife got a catalogue some months ago that had these, so I thought wth and gave her the 'go ahead'. Too bad there isn't a 10th, Emperor Palpatine/Darth Sideous card. They dropped the ball there.

In no way do I take these seriously as being part of the world of graded collectables- You'd think the labels would mention the card's number, but instead look like 10,000 "10 GEM-MT" labels were made for 10,000 cards, as I'm is the case. Still, being a comic collector with some slabs, these are almost, if not, an amusing parody.

Pardon my ignorance but what am I looking at? Cards called 23k? 23k bars? I’m looking on my phone and I sound quite dumb but I’m just not sure. I drooled over another boardie’s marvel silver coins. I don’t like Star Wars at all but put it in gold and I’m intrigued. On the Ole phone they look like gold that’s for sure.
