KFC does haircuts now, Wooh Hoo. zdoes10 private msg quote post Address this user
Would someone please help me out with this book.

In side the cover, it states it is: The H.A.R.D. Corps, Vol. 1 No. 1, December 1992, Published by Valiant.

I cannot find this cover and I cannot find where HC #1 has a variant cover.

Thank you for any help.

I do not believe that is a cover. That looks like an opening splash page.

I had no way of knowing that 9.8 graded copies signed by Adam Hughes weren't what you were looking for. drchaos private msg quote post Address this user

That is the opening splash page.

It is either a book that had its cover removed (maybe a 90s kid thought it made a cool poster) or it is a manufacturing defect.

The lack of a publisher’s logo, cover price, and issue number (virgin covers weren’t exactly common practice at the time), plus the inclusion of a credits box and story dialogue and texts (incredibly common on the opening page) makes it highly unlikely that it was meant to be the cover. Also, according to the MyComics Shop, the book should have 36 pages so at 28 pages it seems like your book is incomplete.

The original book had a gatefold cover so you can see a small glimpse of the book’s first page along the right edge of the scan and that matches up perfectly with the first image you posted

H.A.R.D. Corps was a pretty good read. I remember enjoying the books back in the day.

@zdoes10 looks like @dielinfinite is correct. Out of curiosity; is that “cover” page glossy?

@HulkSmash the page looks like all the other pages and to me they are not that glossy.

@dielinfinite I did not count the two outside pages (that I took for the front and back) so there is 30 pages. If the front cover was a fold out page, then that is the other 6 pages that I don't have.

Thanks again for all of the help.
