WEEKLY DRAWING SUBMISSION #12 - HALLOWEEN13124

I'd like to say I still turned out alright, but that would be a lie. flanders private msg quote post Address this user
For this week I was thinking we can do a Halloween theme, witches, ghosts, ghouls, monsters, werewolves, vampires, etc. I'm going to give a couple characters a try, maybe Hobgoblin & Ghost Rider, and frame them as part of this years decorations if they turn out somewhat decent.

Love it. Hereโ€™s my first one. Approached it as more of a scratchboard drawing, trying to focus on the highlights.

If the viagra is working you should be well over a 9.8. xkonk private msg quote post Address this user
If I got to pick in October I was going with Ghost Rider, so I was mentally if not artistically prepared. My daughter helped with the teeth and some of the fire.

No idea what I'm doing. I have no photography skills and no pumpkin at home. This is still a work in progress. Maybe one day I'll be able to sketch something from my own brain instead of having to look at a picture but I'm pretty happy with this so far.

I had some time last night so I put a little more effort into this week's subject. Hey, any chance I get to draw Ghost Rider, I'm on it. ๐Ÿ˜†

I'll try to do something more Halloweenie before the week is over. Until then, I bring you the Rider...

I guess I misunderstood what to draw. No comic characters in mine.

Ok guys, don't laugh too hard!!! I don't have sketch paper or pecils here, so I worked with what I have. I couldn't let a Halloween drawing competition go by without this guy being represented. So I did a quick sketch of one of my favorite DC villians that also reminds me of Halloween, the Scarecrow!!!

Ok I did another one that is more fitting with the topic. It's frustrating that my drawings never turn out like I pictured it in my head. This one ended up taking on a life of It's own. ๐Ÿ˜†

@Jesse_O Your post spawned this...

Compared to the people with talent that post on here it might not be much. That being said, I think it is the best drawing I've ever done. Thanks for posting your Scarecrow.

@Towmater I think we're going around again and you picked week two. However, @Jesse_O participated for the first time this week and hasn't picked yet so I think he should. Are they any other newcomers that haven't picked yet?

I know it's late. I just haven't been feeling the vibe.

Here's an old one that fits the theme. It's supposed to be a "Broken Panel" idea; The boarded up window to the right is actually the Walker's point of view as its attention is drawn by the bottom board dropping and revealing people peaking out the window- At the bottom in silhouette are the hands that accidentally dislodge the board. Note (if you can) only two nails used on the last board, and one is bent.

Not sure how well that works without explanation. Anyway,
