| I saw the email and thought, "Ug ... another Thor variant cover." But then I saw it. How cool is this? A homage to Silver Surfer #4. I think I saw this once with Action Comics #1, the perspective shift. I can't remember the artist ... maybe Alex Ross? Not sure. Regardless, it's a cool concept and excellent execution.  |

| @Tedsaid yea I got the email from bigtimecollectibles. I don't know if anything is going on with the specific issue, the description on MCS says the Return of Donald Blake, but I think a lot of variants are coming out since all of Donny Cates storylines for Silver Surfer Black, Thor, Venom, etc. are all tying into the King in Black series coming up. I think I preordered a copy of a few different variants for #9 a couple months ago. | ||

| Thanks for sharing Ted. Love the concept. Only found preorders on Ebay already graded in the $179-$199 price range. I can appreciate all of these variants, but am sticking to what I love....silver and bronze age books. | ||
