on Ebay, just an advertisement to drum up interest since I've seen a few other people do the same. Ebay is really more of a last resort when selling for me, I usually just show stuff on instagram or other groups (or here) to sell directly - but figured legit auctions would be fun for once since half this stuff I have zero clue on prices (so might as well let everyone decide what they are worth).

@SauceDog true, i usually sell on IG or FB marketplace lol so much easier directly. But ebay is a good auction last resort. Im going to try 1st time live claim and auction sales on IG this week. If its cool i stick with it if not then back to regular sales lol

If the viagra is working you should be well over a 9.8. xkonk private msg quote post Address this user
As a general note, you can't run an auction on the forum. Prices have to be listed up front. Advertising your eBay is ok though.

instagram is becoming my main go-to for any comic purchase, and the live claim auctions held by some of the bigger ones are just so much fun (Just did my first one with Elite comics, ended up buying another House of Secrets 92 for a decent price). I can see these being deadly for my wallet on a slow night with a drink or two

I am ignorant of IG and FB sales, I've tried to look stuff up but most of it is not stuff I would be interested in and, seemingly, exorbitant prices. it feels like I would have to devote hours and hours to filter through the offerings. at least on e-bay I can filter my searches. If you can post links to good and trustworthy sellers I would be more interested. you of course can list your own link and i would try and check it out. Anyone else is welcome to either list them openly or PM me. i am always looking for bargains or to fill my want list, a combination of both is ideal.

Stick to https://www.instagram.com/elite_comics11/ what they do is team up with comic shops in North America and offer a moderated stream of their comics.

Basically the comic shop reveals comics with an asking price and a letter, example House of Secrets 92 with a price tag of $300 and a post it note with the letter S on it. Anyone who wants it outright can just type in the chat 'S 300' to take it at that price, or they can make an offer to the shop by putting a question mark by it 'S 250?' (offering $250 for comic S). The Elite Comics moderator is looking at the chat and then reads any claims, questions, or offers off to the shop which they will address live on the stream.

Yes you don't know which comics are going be coming up and in what order (but that is kinda part of the fun, a sudden mega key reveal that catches everyone off guard), but often they do post preview images of which books will be offered that night on the auction (so you can tell if it will be 99% modern stuff - which is what the last one I was watching was, or if it has other eras and items you could be interested in).

The prices and how flexible they are come down to each of the shops themselves, but I've found many of them are very willing to negotiate - especially once you've bought a few items in the auction. The Canadian shop I watched was VERY accommodating on prices, though I didn't buy anything due to it being mostly modern keys/variants, but did notice how well priced it was all selling for.

Last day of the auctions - all are ending tonight (Sunday, Oct 4th), and all are still low priced. Get some cool golden age goodies for less than GPA prices!
