Another Instocktrades damaged item!!12985

Ok, I have ordered from IST for several years and had mostly AMAZING results...but lately not so much! It is evident that they have ZERO quality control these days!! So, not to bash them, they always do replace items, but...WHY send out damaged crap to begin with when they never used to!?????

Here is one example...




Um, NO....that dinged up corner will NOT do!!!!!

I have sent back quite a few books in recent months, you would think they would remember me & NOT send me damaged crap, but NO...it just keeps on coming! But, since they refuse to learn their lessons....I will KEEP SENDING DAMAGED BOOKS BACK TO THEM!!!!!!!!!!

I order a good amount from them and have never had an issue. Hardcovers usually arrive double packed in a heavy duty box.

I prefer to buy my trades at one of my LCS so that I can pick out a nice copy and I would prefer to see the local store get my hobby dollars. I want them to stay in business being I have a pull list at one of them too.

Systemic issues would cause me concern. (as this may be with InStockTrades)

Generally speaking though, damage happens in every industry and to me it is always about what they do after the damage is reported. If they provide a replacment free of charge with shipping, that's good customer service and I tend to let mistakes go when companies are quick to rectify.

I would prefer to buy trades at an LCS, but they don't offer 42%+ off of anything, so the competition is just not there.
