Hopefully this hasn't already been posted:

https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/she-hulk-tatiana-maslany-lands-204304394.html

I thought she was good in Orphan Black, but think she may be a little on the petite side. What do you guys think of the casting?

Until we know about the show there isn’t much to say yet. I mean you can say Ruffalo is too petite to play the Hulk but they pulled it off. With the money Disney is laying down for their Disney+ Marvel shows, she could be playing Jennifer Walters and She-Hulk herself could be CG or partially CG

I'm with you on that.
I have always had a negative connotation with creations of characters based upon a major character in which the new creation is (Fill in the blank) - a son, a daughter, an uncle, a different color, a different gender, an aunt, an amalgam, a sister, a brother, a different costume, a different background, a different name, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera.

To me - it demonstrates the lowest & laziest level of artistic creativity an artist/writer/creator can conceive.

Of course, if the show is well written and well done, I will watch it.
But generally speaking, I could care less.

I like Gina Carano... with green skin and up sized to she hulk. The bad guy’s/girls would all wet their pantries ..besides she can already fight.

As far as acting goes she is a great pick. Orphan Black was a great show, the way she pulled off all of those accents was amazing! To make her She-Hulk CGI.

I'm not sure I understand this concern for a character that's 40 years old and completely different from the 'original' in terms of personality and storylines. If you don't want to give a new character a chance because you find them derivative, I get that, but you've got a lot of years of stories to judge She Hulk on her own merits at this point.

I just find derivative characters very cheap. In has become extremely common in the last 10 years or so. It may have even started with She-Hulk 40 years ago. I dunno.

There's just too many of them and it is creatively lazy imo; although I see why it is successful based on all the sales and clamoring for these derivative characters. I recognize I am in the minority

I’m optimistic. She’s a great actress.

We have yet to see what the tone of the Disney+ live-action comic stuff will be like.

It can’t be nearly as dark as the Netflix stuff. But this doesn’t have to be.

Maybe Perry Mason court room Drama + detective/hero hijinks?

@00slim they don't make shows as great as Perry Mason anymore. Come to think of it, the Alfred Hitchcock Hour was great also!!!

But back on topic, I'm glad they are doing this. I hope to watch it when it comes out.

Cmon. Green skin, Blue skin is hot. Hell, just having skin is hot.
Plus I have a 9.8 number 1 and beautiful 2-12 issues, so it has to be great.
Don’t have an Avengers 8 so have to even things out!
