I have never had any books pressed but will be sending some in shortly. Are the results impressive on average what is the norm grade lift range?

@Ironwill75

Every book is different. That being said, my suggestion is press screen unless you know it needs a press. That 5 bux can save you from resubmitting over something stupid. You figure packing time, material, wear and tear on vehicle, it all adds up. That 5 bux is well spent in my opinion

If you go with CBCS to press, don't be in a hurry. My shi...stuff has been sitting there for almost 10 months and they still haven't gotten to it. Don't get me wrong they do a great job, they're just backed up due to moving to Texas.

@OGJackster is correct. The TAT is crazy long.

Even fast pass is not really fast. Keep your expectations realistic knowing its gonna be awhile

@OGJackster @Bronte Yeah , I was aware of that going in. I got my order bumped up to a fast press so there's that. That's a bitter pill I'm willing to swallow though since I don't need them back at a particular time and I'm not going to flip them.

If the viagra is working you should be well over a 9.8. xkonk private msg quote post Address this user
It wouldn't be worth it unless you have a pricey book in hand, but I just had a two-day modern order get through pressing and grading in about two weeks. I would at least fast press anything you feel antsy about getting back. I sent a regular-speed order at the same time and don't expect to have it for a while.

I have pressed $1 books into $1,200.00 books

To be honest, they were copies of Wolverine 35 (the first two to come to market and a 3rd copy later on)
There were so many wolverine collectors (all in the CGC registry vying for the #1 spot) that all had issue 35 at 9.6 due to a manufacturing issue, that it became a bidding war over the first two books.

The third copy only got $700.00

@CFP_Comics How much did I pay for that Giant Size Marvel Triple Action #1 in 9.2? Was it like $60 or $70? Pressed it up to the first or second 9.8 and got like $1500 or $1800 for it. Ended up turning that into three or four Silver Age Northland Pedigree X-Men books.

You picked that out of the under $100 box from Metropolis Comics, at a New York or Chicago show.
