I had no way of knowing that 9.8 graded copies signed by Adam Hughes weren't what you were looking for. drchaos private msg quote post Address this user

I mentioned that I've started using Registered Mail when I ship to CBCS. The White Glove service means I don't have to worry about taking a beating. Todays trip to the post office made me realize that when the time comes, shipping the parents by Registered Mail would probably be a good idea also:

So there is a toy store on my street, it has been closed for a year because of the pandemic. Anyway walking past the other evening for some unknown someone for some reason decided to push comic books thru the gap of the door.

So I got talked into doing this 5 minute journal. The book is a paperback and the idea is to do 5 minutes of guided journaling everyday. I just started it this week and it seems that I have a funny issue doing this that only a comic collector can truly appreciate. I find myself cringing when I fold the cover back to write in it, which is also mentally challenging to do!!!!

I'm blaming everyone on this forum for contributing to a phobia that I seem to be developing. I'm not sure if there is a name for it, but I now fear creasing a book cover and writing inside a book!!!! I'm fine writing in a notebook, because that's what you do with a blank notebook. But there's something about writing on a page with printing that just seems almost sacrilegious to me now!!!

Anyway, that is my true, yet humorous, story. And because I've hung around here long enough, I'm POSITIVE that someone here will surely ask what journal I am doing, so I've provided a stock image of it.

@Jesse_O I was going to post a picture of someone being anal, but when I googled it, most of them were pretty gross lol! So, we'll just post this one to represent it

@Jesse_O I have a book of crossword puzzles and I keep a pen in it so I don't have to find one when I want to work on a puzzle. It's put a nasty bend in the cover and pages I've done so far. I have to remind myself that it's a puzzle book, not anything worth keeping flat

@Jesse_O - Papyrophobia covers a broad range of fears about paper in general. And the Urban Dictionary lists origamiphobia as the fear of origami, or folded paper.

@Jesse_O it's gotten worse for me. I get given board games themed on pop culture that I like and refused to take the package off and play them.

Wife's friend gave us both a fantasy style board game from Dungeons & Dragons. First thing my wife said to me is we're opening it up and playing it.

( I kept quiet, given to us since Xmas I've not brought up the subject, it's still sealed ) 👍

@Jesse_O - If it doesn't break the color, you can always have the creases pressed out.

I found this to be humorous, a friend bought a new box knife and he actually read the warning label. "Cut Hazard", "Contact with Blade May Result In Injury". Who would have thought that a razor sharp knife could hurt you?
