One of my favorite books. Still the only graded copy of either census. By no means expensive but for whatever reason HG copies just do not exist.

A bit (lot) beat up, and technically replaceable, but it was a gift and I'd be heartbroken if anything should happen to it. I will get it slabbed at some point, but right now I've got an irrational fear of it disappearing in the mail.

Here’s the one I’d have the hardest time replacing. A TOS 52 in 8.0+ is a tough find. And this one having the WHITE pages designation puts it over the top. I’d love a 9.4 one day, but the prices out out of my reach.

Even a bump to a 9.0 would be quite expensive.

Any limited edition book or printed ephemera that is considered a highest graded copy or among the best currently known examples would have to be considered irreplaceable in absolute terms. Also, any personalized signed book, original art, recreation or uniquely retouched print in series would qualify as irreplaceable.

Using this criteria, here are a couple of more items that I’d consider irreplaceable...

Jack Mathis’ oversized, self-published, Ltd. Ed. history of Republic cliff hanger serials.

Edgar Church (highest graded copy)

I don't have any comics that couldn't be quickly replaced tonight on Ebay. But in the DBK (Days Before Kids) I searched out these 3 Sci-Fi First Printings that I'm glad made it through the 2008 recession without getting sold. I think a couple members here will be able to appreciate them:

Two more that would be difficult if not impossible to replace...

Edgar Church (HGC)

Billy Wright (2nd HGC)

I would truly hate to part with this one as I remember how
pleased I was to find it hanging by a clothes pin in the
window of a store. It was Winter and I had to run home to
get a dime and hope it was still there when I got back.
I always felt it was special because it came from the
creators of SUPERMAN.
