So "normal" no, but not unheard of and not unexpected with the current environment.

That sounds about right....I'd add 2-3 weeks to that for us Canucks up here. I've still got 1 re-holder sub that was Received mid-January by CBCS which is currently in Labels and a slab-only/vsp submission also in Labels that was Received by CBCS at the end of January. Hopefully they arrive soon.

I'm not feeling totally settled on the submission. There was one book which had an invalid serial number due to the data loss from a while back. I had to submit it as a normal grading tier and then it was moved to a reholder, as told from customer service. It still shows on the invoice as a Modern grading submission (I was refunded the difference). The submission was marked received on 3/5. So, if we're going on the 6 week timeframe, it should be #soon. Thanks for the insights @Scifinator. I appreciate it.

We also back date the order to the date it hit CBCS. That way your books are really in the que, but you only see when it is entered.

Thank you for that info, that helped me understand as well. Thank you for caring to come to the forum and answer questions. Means a lot to us.

Order updated to received now the waiting game begins, also that feeling when you get an email and you forgot to put two books in. Luckily they weren't as important as the other ones.

I got another question I can't seem to find or grasp. I was told once your comic is received you will get an email and email updates, check- got that. but people say you can track your comics through your dash board. but all I have ever seen is processing, I know they are in printing from emails, so you really can't track them, like I was picturing or is it my account just hasn't been updated to show their movement through, like received, pressing, grading, shipping, ect??

@Comicninja0215 - what made it even more funny was the “useful nuggets”. But now that I think about it, i guess poop cab be useful in composting and fertilizers.

Just received the email that my books have completed the grading process. I love the emails I receive as my order moves through the process. Love doing business with CBCS. This weekend I’ll put together the next order and schedule a pick-up/drop off when I get the final word.

I've messed it up before so I'm sending my UF 4 still in the bag...they'll cut it out for like $5 or something right?

Collector xkonk private msg quote post Address this user
@KatKomics CBCS should take it out for free. I'm guessing since they don't charge to break out of slabs, and that must be harder than opening a polybag.

As @xkonk predicted, I got the shipped email and the tracking number tonight. Said I should get it Monday. Unfortunately, I saw the grades when I accessed my account........and I like what I saw. Just now need to see it in hand.

@xkonk - 10/22?? Crap, I keep thinking I'm going to get my comics back some day, but that's a month and a half before my receive date! I need to edit my will to include the need for somebody to pickup my comics, just in case I die of old age while waiting. I'm looking at just short of half a year, for total turnaround time. That's ridiculous.

@Donnied if your submission contained Pressing yes, if not, you should receive back shortly.

Collector xkonk private msg quote post Address this user
@Donnied Yeah, I send most of my stuff for pressing and don't use fast press/pass. So I was expecting ~24 weeks. I'm not in a rush. And in this case the stuff I included that I planned on selling has probably doubled in value, so I'm not even mad.

Collector GAC private msg quote post Address this user
@xkonk My next batch will be the same....pressing with no fast press/pass. When it's for your PC it's easier to wait. As long as they're not rushing the process I'm fine with TATs.
