6 more books confirmed delivered into the void!!!

Aug 29th - in shipping for 26/27days now - done trough CBCS US to avoid CBCS Canada delays - lol!!!
Oct 15th - no movement - but supposedly all October orders are in grading now?
Nov 15th - no movement - if October is done then November should be in pressing now
Feb 6th - just starting the process

Would be nice to have the October orders back by April/May as I would like to try and sell some Venom related books before the next movie in June

These are being shipped to CBCS today by a 3rd party presser and I'm looking forward to seeing how they turn out in about 12 weeks.

You could always get them back quicker but wrecked by other grading companies.

I'm peeved that their site doesn't show the progression of your books. It's kind of dumb, and makes me not want to try CBCS again. Because when I have called customer service, they never seem to know what thry are talking about, and I keep having to correct them on my order. It's not only frustrating, but kind of terrible communication.

CBCS, and I'm not advocating for either, but I've only done CBCS twice, CGC 5 times (and all in the past year) and have never had this problem with CGC.

On my dashboard. Everything says "processing." When I call, they never tell me the right dates for anything....for example: the last time I called, the lady told me signature verification was done on a specific date. The date she keeps giving me is the date I entered my books in the website. I HADN'T EVEN MAILED THEM YET. And when I explain that, I get talked to as if I'm stupid and don't know what I'm talking about.

You have to click on the hyper link called Invoice. That is where you find the real status of your submission.

when you click on the Invoice, your status is shown on the right side.

@Qillabee If you're getting the status of your submissions from here...it will always say Processing until its complete/shipped out.

Yes and no. Checking your invoice instead of going by the dashboard/order is generally better but no part of the process is perfect. For example, I have an order right now that says 'processing' on my dashboard. If I click on the order it says 'received'. If I click on the invoice it says 'submitted'. In truth, from the time that's passed and from emails I've received, I know that the order has gone through pressing and is sitting waiting to be graded. I have a second order that's similar except the invoice says 'billing', and it's already been billed and paid for. CBCS knows that it's wonky.

@xkonk You are correct but I think one can not go by the status on their Open Orders dashboard at any time. The status there will always show "Processing" until its shipped, so to get a more accurate status you need to check one of the other two areas you mention.

That's probably true. Just pointing out that 'more accurate' is relative. @Qillabee has a reasonable complaint.

It shouldn't be so difficult. And my books have been there for a month. They should say something else. She told me they were verified as signatures....and in grading....on the day they were recieved. That doesn't make sense...unless the customer service people have no clue what they are talking about. Hell, she could have been reading my book while eating cheesy Doritos while talking to me about it.

It's not that difficult once one knows where to look. I do agree with you though that having multiple places indicating a status and the status's are not all the same is odd. When I click on my order and click on my invoice, whichever is the more advanced status in CBCS's process is the one I go by as most accurate.

Of course it isn't blank. It says recieved. But at least in CGC, you are told steps.

I have a few orders in at CGC currently and I would say that while they might not be as bad as CBCS, they aren't that much better.

It's taking nearly 3 weeks to a month before they receive the books in. I'm still waiting.

They send you an invoice to let you know you are billed for pressing. They dont literally state it on their submission site. their time tables aren't accurate. I submitted in October on a few books and the TATS have slowly increased every month to where I have no real idea when they will be finished.

On books that are not pressed, some stuff got turned around very quick, others are still in purgatory with no rhyme or reason why if they were submitted a week or two apart why they are over a month in difference of receipt.

So while CBCS may have issues, CGC is not far behind in terms of questions that need to be answered. And in terms of customer service. I had to go through hoops to get stuff fixed because they don't want to fix other reps screw ups. They say you gotta contact the guy who messed up the order. I had to prove to her he was ignoring my emails before she intervened. And even then I think I was charged wrong but accounting is separate from customer service and I don't have enough patience to go through more headaches.

So yes, both sides are not ideal. But unless a 3rd viable choice comes up, it is what it is....

Good morning

My books have been "ShipToCanada" since last week of January... going on 4 weeks now. Does anyone know how much time it takes usually ? First time submitting via the Canadian facility.

Kind regards
