I mean if that seems to be working thwn hey cbcs my 2nd submission was like 4 days after the 1st one lol its been in grading over a week now. It shouldnt bw that long well maybe a week and a half lol  |

| Hi, This is my first time submitting comics to cbcs. Does anyone know how long it takes for them to show that it was received. It’s been a week in a half since the package showed that it arrived on my tracking with fedex at the Canada location. I even put to have them sign for it. But it still states submitted and not received. Also tried calling last two days. Says extension cannot be reached which doesn’t make sense if it shows there opened... is there a direct number for Canada location or just the general 1844 number which I guess goes to the states? Any help would be great thanks. |

| @Voorhees13 usually I find it takes about 5 working days to show as received but not sure this is the 'official' line. Regarding contact over the past couple of days I'm pretty sure they would be off for Thanks Giving holidays that you guys have over there |

| @Voorhees13 If you go back through this thread a few pages, you'll see several people, myself included, have experienced the same thing. I will say this, don't worry, they have your books. If they're delivered, they're delivered. I had the same fear when they didn't show as received for what ended up being a total of 7 weeks for me. With the border closed it disrupted the way they transport Canadian orders down to the States and there have been significant delays since March. I'm not sure if they've settled on a procedure yet, but I believe they accumulate a bunch of orders and ship them down together. When they arrive at CBCS US Operations, they will mark them as received. Of course I certainly don't fault you for wanting confirmation, but as mentioned, they are likely closed for the holidays until tomorrow. Unfortunately the only way to know about the delays is to check the forums. There is still no detailed information on the website itself to give you a heads up before submitting. |

| Very unexpectedly, I received my Vintage2020 submission back today. Invoice created August 11th, 2020. Delivered to the Canadian location on August 13th, 2020. Delivered back to me November 29th, 2020. No email regarding shipping back, no updates on the website as of yet. I even scanned a QR code on one of the comics to see the graders notes as I was curious as to why it received such a low grade (got a check-mark beside it though!)and the website could not locate the number, so I guess they haven't been entered into the database yet. Hang in there everyone. All evidence points to them being really jammed up and under-staffed, likely due primarily to Covid-19. I'm sure they'll catch up eventually. I wish I could help. Hey Darryl, if you guys need someone who is a Canadian citizen on staff to help out on this end, send me an email. I'm only joking in the sense that it's probably unlikely, otherwise, not joking at all. I can send a resume. Good luck! |

| Just out of curiosity - for the CBCS people here on the forums: I submitted a book for the Gerry Conway signing with fast press and fast pass. Once CBCS gets the book back from being signed, what's the turnaround given fast press and fast pass? Thanks in advance, Wally (To clarify - I'm just curious about standard turnaround with fast pass and fast press, I understand you can't "guesstimate" signature and return to CBCS times) |

| My two books for grading were received Oct. 16th, they are still showing processing, so no six week turn around. I'm doubtful they will be here until sometime in January. I always figure 2 extra weeks for shipping so 8 weeks minimum. | ||

| Turn around time is only Business Days in-house. Thanksgiving essentially added a calendar week to all TATs. If you have sigs, that’s another week and clean/press can add a couple months. | ||

| @Paint_Monk it'll depend on when the signing happens. If they credit the current TATs I think pressing it at like 6 months (just guessing) and grading is 10 weeks (that was announced last week for regular speed/moderns), so with your fast press/pass it would be 3 months/5 weeks. But that would be from whenever the signing actually happens and the details say "signing can take in excess of 4 months to complete". So basically I would send it and forget it. | ||

| I submitted my first order to CBCS Canada on Oct. 22. It was marked as rec'd in the US on Nov. 6th. I have one order for grading and other for pressing. Because I read some of this forum before my first submission, I am prepared for a late June return. I will check back with ya'll in June if my books are at least not in grading by then. | ||

| My Modern submission was received in TX just over 9 weeks ago today. It moved from Received to Grading 12 days ago and is still there at the moment. Here's hoping they finish up and ship it back soon. |
