@brysb Love those ‘80s New Teen Titans books! NTT was one of the first DCs that I collected faithfully every month, trying to never miss an issue. These stories stand the test of time and are still as great now as they were then.

@brysb One of my favorite DC runs. Like @michaelekrupp this was also the first regular run of a DC title that I bought and read every month.

In addition, I ended up buying a lot of doubles because the one guy at CGC forum sold me a lot at Comic Book Price Guide listed value or below.

Also, I need to get these comics in Mylites soon.

picked up an eternals 2 30 cent variant, the dark hawk 1's all newsstand editions (got a steal on those), the marvel superhero 18 had for a long time always thought that they were all printed without color until I seen the back and saw the blue ink. Looked them up and it's supposed to be just like avengers 57 with color. Should I send it in and have graded for printing error? Is there a way to see if any others were printed like this copy? Last is the dazzler, had these for years also, all copies are printing errors also

We never started a RIP thread for the first congressman to write a graphic novel, so this will have to do.

@Batman66 Nice haul. I’d be potentially interested in the Marvel Super Action 18 if ya wanted to sell it.

While ASM #129 is getting past the point of what I might pay for a comic book, The second full Punisher appearance In ASM #135 was still very much obtainable.

ASM 129 is one of my lifelong sore spots. I started collecting as a huge SM fan. For my 11th or 12th birthday, my big present was to go to the bigger city nearby to the big LCS that had a bunch of back issues. They were helping me with my list. We got to ASM 129 and I had already ran up about a $100 tab at that point. They had two copies. One for $5 and the other for $2.50. (VF and VG respectively). I opted for the $2.50 because I wanted to save my parents a few dollars.

There is a silver lining to your story.... at least you got a copy! and even a lower grade copy is worth considerably more than the $2.50 paid for it.

My only silver lining is..... that I like the Cover of the #135 Much better that that of the #129.

I guess you win some and you lose some! Im pretty happy with the new addition

Don't get me wrong. I'm ecstatic that I have it at all. I would rather have the one I have as opposed to none at all. I just know what I could have had. I agree with the 135, too. It's a way cool cover. I originally had that in the Marvel Tales reprint when I was little.

The story of how you came about owning the book and trying to save your folks a few bucks is worth more than any monetary value. That book regardless of condition has to hold a special meaning in your collection.
