Critic's buzz is that it's basically another Avengers movie and it's the best one so far. I'm all-in on this movie! As a kid of the 70s and 80s I have been beside myself happy with the MCU. It has transported me to when I first got to know and love these characters. These movies make me glad to continue to make mine Marvel. |

Y'all must have seen a different Captain America: Civil War movie than I did. I found it just about equal with the second Avengers. Not even close to the first Avengers movie. I give it a 6.5 Some anecdotal comments: My opinion is the above. My wife (who loves superhero movies) found it even less "good" than I did. She gave it a 6 of 10. My son and his wife found it "pretty good". A 7.5 on a scale of 1-10. The first Iron Man and the first Avengers movies were 9.5's in my opinion. |

Saw it with my wife today. I feel that, for me, of all the Marvel film franchises all 3 Cap films were home runs. I liked the Thor films, though at times I'd cringe a bit (for little, unimportant reasons). I liked Age of Ultron, but thought Spaders performance was off from what I would expect. I liked IM1, thought IM2 had its moments, and was so disappointed in IM3 that I specifically asked my wife to not get it for me on blu ray or dvd, as I'd never watch it, and what little OCD I suffer from isn't enough to need the collection complete. The only problem I really had with the Cap films was the inconsistency with the shield. It should have absorbed the shot that sent Sgt. Bucky Barnes flying to his "death", and in WS the same thing happened to Cap on the overpass- minus the death. Aside from that I think the stories are the best of the group (with 2 or more films under their belts). GOTG might take the lead if the sequel is as good as the first. IMO |

When I can walk out of a movie feeling like I did as a kid walking out of Star Wars or Raiders gleefully asking "Can we see it again????" it is a rare thing. Cap 3 had me wanting to see it again immediately. Pure fun! |

Finally saw the film. It was well paced and written. I liked it a little more than The Winter Soldier, but not as much as the first Avengers movie. | ||
