I used to LOVE Prisoners of Gravity - for some reason I particularly remember an interview with Alan Moore and one with Harlan Ellison - I think it was that interview that made me seek out some of his books. F'me I'm old...it went off the air when I was 20 ![]() Rick Green of course is even more famous as part of the Red Green show!!! |

@GAC - Thanks for sharing that, Angelo. Great stuff! I don’t know what to make of the show’s format, but I loved the content. And I got to see and hear from two of my favorite artists and creators, Jack Kirby and Wil Eisner! What you have got to love about Kirby is that he comes across as such a humble and honest man. He poured his heart and soul into his work, and produced a crazy volume of it, because he wanted to provide for his family. Back then, the more you produced, the more you got paid. He was a fire-ball, a force of nature, and a character too. We will never see another artist with that type of work ethic that puts out that volume of material over that many years, or influences that many people. The King has sadly passed, but long live the King and the universes that he created. | ||

@esaravo Amen to that Ed!! Jack was so creative for so long. So much of his creations broke new ground and changed the way comics were viewed....its unparalleled. He was a genius. There will never be another like him!! Long live the King indeed!! | ||
