Tag system here is horrendous).

These however are all things CBCS can implement or even surpass if resources were allocated to them, however based on how they handle their own website (and my experience as a web developer) I don't get the feeling they are at all that interested in tackling these things right now. The negative side of not doing the online experience correctly is that each day is another day CBCS could have been closing the cap in search engine placement and overall social rankings, but as it stands they are just stuck. I literally do SEO for work and they are failing in many ways in this regard. They might offer a great service, but their ability to build & support the brand is lacking.

I also do prefer CGC labels, as CBCS are far too pale and do not utilize the empty space in a pleasing manner.
Tags only work when they are used; blame laziness and You can’t find something that’s not there. The latest thread with GA books for sale is archived. But yes; The website needs work

Hey..hey..everybody...this site is freaking amazing compared to Chucks!!

1980's and early 1990's Chuck Norris was a freak of nature! Missing in Action 1 and 2, Invasion USA, Lone Wolf McQuade, The Hitman, Firewalker, The Octagon, Delta Force, all low budget action classics!

@Studley_Dudley I did that on a different one. On this one I started high and only had to lower the price once before I got a bite. It's nice having a higher amount of potential buyers by using that site since they cross list on Ebay and offer international shipping (something I'm hesitant to do myself, especially at this time).

I cannot stand Chuck Norris in most aspects today, with the goody two shoes attitude and holier than thou social meddling, but back in the day when he was making action movies he was pretty much the king....

Favorite quote from Invasion USA...…"Don't come back in here again or I will hit you with so many lefts you beg for a right!"

Most celebrities are annoying when they get all preachy and up their own butts with self-importance. That can be its own thread for another time.

I like the forum here more than CGC’s. I like the CBCS community more.

As far as Mr. Norris is concerned, I’ve seen Lone Wolf McQuade & recently saw Silent Rage. What do people consider Chuck’s best movie?

As for the other Chuck (Rozanski), I was in his corner when he had a bit of a stand-off with SDCC a couple years back.

When it comes to his dated website & overly inflated prices? Yeah, I can’t back that.

im pretty sure they were all low budget cheese. You can’t go wrong with Way of the Dragon though.

Lone Wolf is McQuade was a fairly legitimate movie. Very western vibe and probably when he started becoming more mainstream. I don't know how many would be "good" per se, but Missing in Action 1 & 2 (I try to forget about the 3rd), Invasion USA, and The Hitman were all over the top fun. I'm pretty sure he made a lot of films with the same production group as Charles Bronson back then. Most of it is all action heavy, with plenty of cheese. Not quite B-movies, but not really A list either.

It would be great if every celebrity/entertainer/athlete signed a "stay in my own lane and keep my mouth shut on social issues" clause in their contracts. Just let us peasants figure it out for ourselves without their overly magnified voices in our heads.

I also believe CGC has done a great job of developing many industry allies. Very high-volume customers who are big players in the industry and have more confidence that CGC slabbing will get them the grade they want, not necessarily the most accurate grade.

Here's a great pedigree link someone posted on the forum before. Contains interesting backstory on each of the existing pedigrees.

Thanks. And to be honest the book sounds like it might be a fun read. But the site gave me the same feeling I had when it came to my last experience with the Universal Studios Hollywood tour. Just with me realizing that the only non-indy comics I like these days are DC's 1965-1989 stuff.

One thing I noticed lately:

My two most recent CGC purchases, both of which were advertised as “freshly slabbed” had one thing in common. Both books seem loose in the slab. I can feel the books shifting inside.

It’s unnerving. Is this the new “normal” with CGC?

lol and character assination continues for CGC ….

I will have to check and see if I have any more newly graded slabs and see the same thing...so far I don't think any I have are like that. I don't have a big stack of slabs...a few hundred , at best but sounds like something to watch for
