Mine finally got scanned... in North Carolina. Not quite New Jersey. But at least it's in the USPS system now, and hopefully it's a mis-scan. That's happened before.

@Tedsaid I've seen that they have a paypal option although I also just get checks.

I have ordered three things in the last 2 weeks. The one that was supposed to be delivered this past Saturday was sent Media Mail on June 5th (bags and boards, not comics). It has not arrived yet. The other two packages were sent Priority Mail (shipped last Wednesday and Thursday) and both were delivered today.

Yeah, I've used it before. Of course, it's very convenient, and you get paid immediately. But PayPal takes a fee, which I really don't like: 3%. It doesn't sound like much, but if you sell, say, an ASM #129 9.4 for $3000, then the fee is $90.00. I'd rather wait a week and get the extra 90 bucks.

So it's just a pain, with an extra week thrown in there. But once you adjust to it, it's just waiting a little longer, to get all your money.

There is always the option of getting MCS credits in which case you only pay the auction fee

My UPS/USPS book finally made it today. I have a separate UPS package that looks like it's going to be a day late from it's original ETA.

I talked to them about that; to Conan, via email. I suggested making it easier to switch back and forth between pay via check and pay via credit. That will make it easy to get credit one week, and a check issued (or PayPal) the next week, without having to email Este a request to make the change by hand. I pointed out this would make it easier for sellers to buy items on MCS.

He thought that was a great idea and promised to put it on the list for upgrades on their site. Not sure when to expect that, but hopefully soon.

The bags and boards arrived today by Media Mail. Only took 2 weeks.

Given how my last order got hung up, I bumped up to the next level of MCS shipping for a comic I won. USPS priority mail. We'll see how that goes.

Just received a package yesterday with MCS' economy shipping. It was only delayed by one day, so not too bad.

I sent something out first class to someone almost 2 weeks ago. It sat in the first spot for 4 days and now it says it's in route to the next facility
That's been about a week now.

I'm the opposite. I mailed a first class package from Ohio on Monday and it arrived in Washington state Wednesday. Priority is where my shipping frustrations come from. My packages to MCS took almost 13 days to go from OH to TX as priority. International has been a crapshoot. Expedited shipping to me from the UK has been about 10-12 days, but Canada can sit in customs longer. All depends on COVID procedures I guess. Right now, I have two packages coming from Canada and one from the UK. The UK package is starting to worry me since it has been over a month, but I'll let it go a little longer since I've dealt with the seller before.

You guys ever heard of ups mail innovations???? Apparently ups drops packages at your local usps? Well this is what my first MCS order was shipped with. Ups tracking has it dropped at my usps Monday afternoon, usps tracking hasn't even scanned it in. Basically its been sitting a half a mile away for 4 days now. I get delays and what not but why involve two shippers with one package? Maybe I'm missing something.

That's how they can ship a box of 10-15 or more comics for $5. I preorder and get once a month shipping from MCS. It only costs me $5 regardless of how many comics I have. I think the most I have ever had in one month was 3 different boxes. They have never charged me more than $5. The trade off is it takes over a week to get once shipped. I have a box right now that has been sitting in the local (hub) post office for 3 days. I don't think USPS is in any hurry to deliver UPS packages. You get what you pay for.

FedEx also uses USPS with their smart post shipments.

You figure in rural or far off places, it is more cost effective to tap off a company already going to those out of the way places.

They're actually stopping this as is UPS. of course that was prior to the coronavirus. I actually worl for Fedex Express and its been brutal, At least 12 hours a day for the last 3 months or so. I am lucky to take a break once a week now.

This is kind of something we do as well. We ship meds for military veterans. They throw like 250 small packs in a heavy duty type of garbage bag BUT for fedex its only condsidered 1 package. We deliver that package to the post office in 1 day and they deliver it with the regular mail. Cheaper to pay the postal service to deliver 250 pkgs than fedex.

@Bronte True. I also have some comic artists around here that use Fedex. Lee Weeks, Boris Vallejo, Scott Hanna, the Frazettas. Lots more artists. Get to go into their studios and stuff. Its awesome. Spoke to Lee Weeks for like 45 minutes the other day just about on comic stuff mostly.
