Just show something cool: Part 311972

The apple sauce and pudding were the best part... Bronte private msg quote post Address this user

No. The dog is a male. I'm not a dog person, but this dog in particular irks me. I used to give stuffed animals to the ladies at work. So my buddy had a few over the 12 years I worked there. This dog, even though it was neutered, sexually assaulted every animal in the collection. She found all the bears face down a@@ up and defiled throughout the entire room. She took a photo. It was worse than absolute carnage.

Lol, that’s to bad. My friend has a dog that wet the bed but could hold it all day while he was at work. He spent some time researching it and found it could have been a side effect of being spayed. It took a while but she eventually grew out of it.

It's my understanding that dogs go outside to take a dump. This dog still goes on newspaper in the house. I want to say they have had this dog a year at least. They have another dog that is not mentally deficient. They even have a cat who walks with the one dog and does his business while walking with dog without a leash. Neighbors ask how they trained the cat to walk with the dog. Imagine a house with no kitty litter box.....

Edit

The cat is without leash. Dog is leashed.

I can better than imagine a house without a litter box. Two houses down is one, their cats decided under my bay window is a great litter box...... I’ll stop myself there.

Might as well make a comeback.

Long story short, I am one variant (#1B) and two regular (#1A and 4A) away from a complete set. And the best part is that they do not look NM- (as advertised) while bagged and boarded.

Can't really show it because I don't run with my phone. But I ran a 5K this morning in North Dakota (out visiting friends). 35:32 with 35mph winds in my face. Not a bad time but I swear I tasted ribs and Keystone the whole time. I may have been sweating BBQ sauce. This was supposed to be part of my training for the 10K portion of the Air Force Marathon but the USAF cancelled that last week. Leave it up to Chair Force to wuss out.

@Studley_Dudley Great time for sure and so tough when running against the wind for long periods of time!!! I used to run as well until my last 5K run. I agreed to do it the night before.....no prep....and by the end it felt like gravel in my knees....or maybe I'm just old.

As I've gotten older, it takes a little longer to recover. I don't mind a 5K, but longer runs are more painful. I'm sure if I made a more spirited effort to drop some weight, I would feel better. The knees and one of Achilles are more tender after running, so it's really only 2 days per week and 2-3 miles per run.

Base commander at Wright Pat cancelled it. I get why, because there are thousands of people who show up for the event. I don't blame him for it since no one really knows how any of this stuff that shant be mentioned will play out in the long term.

@Studley_Dudley This looks like an opportunity to tell my favorite military joke, a joke told to me by a retired Marine Colonel:

The 4 branches of military have trouble communicating clearly with each other, sometimes with deadly and catastrophic consequences. They hired "the experts" to figure out why, what the experts concluded is that words mean different things to each branch of the military. Let's use the simple 3 word command "Secure the Building" as an example:
If you tell the Marines to "secure the building" they immediately imagine landing on the rooftop in helicopters, going through floor by floor with guns blazing and only Marines and innocent hostages come out alive.
If you tell the Army to "secure the building" they imagine building a perimeter fence around the building, putting up giant loudspeakers and blasting Celine Dion music at the building until the bad guys surrender.
If you tell the office of the Navy to "secure the building", well they assume you mean that the last person to leave the building at night needs to perform a thorough check to insure that all windows are closed and all doors are locked in the building.
If you tell the Air Force to "secure the building" they assume that you mean they should lease it with an option to buy.

Something ive been working on the sidelines with...behind me in my living room in a glass case resides my best friend, inspiration, study partner, and silent muse. I call him Ghengis Nim, as he is from China. He is a fully restored and mounted dinosaur from the mid Cretaceous from Meileyingensis China. A psittacosaurus or parrot beaked dinosaur , and a real actual mounted skeleton.

I focus my dinosaur collecting around similar species or direct cousins or relations to Nim...a few years back in America we discovered an animal named Aquilops. He would be similar in linege perhaps a close cousin to my Nim…..

On another forum I haunt, a member had digitally sculpted the Aquilops and intended to produce a lifesize juevenile at around 25 inches...I offered to purchase smaller versions in various poses if they were offered via a 3d printing service. He took my suggestion and placed the model up for print in a roughly 4 inch size format, per figure. I intend to purchase 3-4 of them, send them to an old friend in England and have a diorama made for my small museum here .

My artist friend that will paint and base the models has done similar things for me often...seen here

Arachaeoceratops family

One take on Nims family

A quadrupedal version of Nim and his brood

It all takes time and it will be perhaps months but I always enjoy these moments.

So, I started making frames last year for Christmas gifts and then stopped for some reason. Well, I picked it back up to finish off a wall and just wanted to show what I did. Please let me know what you think, I would love some feedback.

I am working on another on for a Marine focused around Semper Fi #1. Should look pretty awesome when I am done.

@HulkSmash Routed 2x4, four cross braces notched and then glued and nail-gunned into the 2x4. 5/8 J-Channel Top and bottom. Lots of time and lots of love.

I am thinking of doing them for Christmas again if anyone wants to order one for a friend. If you do, message me. I would be glad to talk to anyone.
