Just show something cool: Part 311972

@Pre_Coder I love collecting history objects. I have only a couple of coins I kept when I vacationed overseas.
I just love the history in what I collect.
Family knows this.

I did bite my tongue and watched a family member give away two prop propellers from two separate downed zero japanese fighter aircraft from the Pacific world war 2.

They weighed a ton and I could just imagine the strange look my wife would have given me so I didn't put my hand up and say, hey I'll take em.
One had a beautiful painting of a lotus flower on one of the props.

I just love the history of the objects.

Why I love comics, the characters the stories, the art and the advertisements πŸ‘

They forgot to put the 9 on the slab. About the only way to make this book interesting enough to keep.

I've said before that I love going to antique stores. Just mainly to see what I might run across. I'm a horror fan and I saw this and absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, I have nowhere to hang it at the moment. Circa 1960's.

First toy I've bought since before puberty. Couldn't help myself. I guess the series is based off the only real Transformers movie.

This is actually one wide panorama alien landscape composition (acrylic on board original) that I digitally modified to create two differing perspectives with varying color scheme...

Since this is a moving panorama, these are literally still a work in progress.

Iron Man 2 Metal Variant Movie Poster by Mondo. Released in 2010 to coincide with the grand opening of the Mondo store that was located inside the Alamo Drafthouse theater in Austin Texas, only 65 of these were made printed on a sheet of metal from artist Tyler Stout. Of the 65 made, about 1/4 of the print run went to those who starred in the film as well as some of the higher level crew, producer, director, etc. A certain amount went to the artist, and then less then two dozen I was told were sold at the Mondo store in Austin Texas at the grand opening, so for this one there were no online orders. All were signed and numbered by the artist via etching into the metal surface. I then had one signed by Stan Lee himself who got a kick out of it. Mondo also produced a standard screenprint edition and a glow-in-the-dark variant edition as well that were limited too but the rarest was this metal version.

I've probably posted this before, I can't remember.
I bought the art over 20 years ago and I've been meaning to get it framed with the cover on one side and the page with the finished printed page on the other.
