@GAC do you throw darts just for fun or do you enter contests? Just asking because I love throwing darts.

Back in the 90s I would go to a local pub where I used to live and enter contests on Saturday nights. The pot luck contests weren't much $$$, but single contests I usually scored about $180-200 a week. I made Sunday/Tuesday/Thursday my practice nights at home throwing anywhere between 2,400-3,600 darts each night.

You're absolutely right!

Dogs are not stupid, and often (just like children), they will periodically test you and see how far they can push the boundaries.

I always thought it would be fun to suit a dog up as The Hamburgaler for Halloween. Because everyone knows that's exactly who they are at heart.

Wow!! For me, I throw darts for fun. In my younger days when I would frequent pubs with friends, we would always play. The stakes were usually individual pints or sometimes the entire nights' tab. In later years, fewer pints and still love throwing but not as serious as yourself. That's some dedication you got there!!

I'd get Chaykin's "HC" on all 6. On the back, though. Even "HC" would cover too much of the art.

What is on the back, btw?

Crappy vinyl sticker on the fridge so I have to redo it. This is for the media room up stairs.

This was given to me by one of my grown sons, he knows I love Speed Racer as much as I love any comic/cartoon character. I have a signed book by Peter Fernandez (the voice of Speed Racer in the original series)that was given to me by my daughter many hears ago.

I made this "coffee table" using a drum kit stool and comic shipping supplies lol!! Some light, rigid cardboard, tape and printed comic art. it's about 19 inches x 19 inches. This will go beside the arcade players when they have beverages. It easily supports four full pints. It was fun to build.

He is a handful but he gets it honest at least. Right now he likes to ride his submarine to "Germany". A voyage that starts in the dining room, goes the length of the hallway, and ends in my bedroom. My brother is stationed in Germany so my son likes to "visit". Ironically, my brother started his naval career on a submarine. He says the USS Logan looks to be a Typhoon class sub. 😉

Just got my latest subscription package from MCS. Without a doubt one of my favorite covers. Very cool to honor Chadwick Boseman and pay homage to his Marvel character. May you rest in peace Boseman.

@GAC great freaking arcade. I enjoyed marvel vs capcom and X-men vs street fighter. The later games in the crossover series were meh.

@Towmater that is awesome!! these games are addictive as hell! I just picked this up today and set it up. I love the graphics on the cabinets...that's part of the enjoyment, they look great. I was a little annoyed my riser is the generic Arcade1up graphic instead of the Galaga graphic and I wish Galaga came with a lighted marquee.

I'd love to see pictures of your cabinets!

Wow! I had no idea that some Typewriters had been designed with so much visual appeal in mind. It's like the Formula 1 of typewriters. Any idea what those sold for new in 1969?

The company that my daughter works for is coming out with a DC-based clothing line tonight, so she had me talk to one of the editors at her company. I guess I am a comic book expert now, they couldn't print it if it wasn't true. lol

@EbaySeller It is a beautiful design and I believe one is on display at the Museum of Modern Art. Not sure as to original cost, would certainly be interesting to know. I shall have to see if I can find any old ads for it.
