So, in that light.... ONLY Graded Example of - |

A viewer sees the post, checks the census, sees 2 books, and wonders what the "rules" are. I was just looking for clarification if I was missing something. |

@Siggy no worries. My feathers weren't too ruffled, but I couldn't resist the urge to make a Highlander comment!! But as far as drek or hot books goes, I'm sure you've already seen examples of books posted here that are neither. And once @earthshaker01 gets wind of this thread, I'm sure there will be more examples that most collectors would never consider drek or hot. Edit, btw, I am a Highlander nerd!!! I LOVED the original movie and I enjoyed the sequels and the tv series. |

Or am I reading that wrong? I don't think so. I agree that if it's a hot book, it won't be the only one on the census. Graded non-keys or drek will pretty much guarantee you a lone census book. |

Only copy on the CBCS census. Transparency here: The addition of a census, has me now firmly deciding to leave these in their CBCS slabs. Was tempted to swap these out for CGC's new pedigree labels, but 1) thought about the possibility of a down grade in the regrade 2)as far as CBCS books go, i'm really a fan of the original label (sorry). Won't look uniform with the rest of my books in the run, but hey.. |

It might be interesting to post when any of these books in the thread are no longer the only book on the census, just to see how long it holds.

I've noticed that so far the lower the grades, the cooler the books. The higher the grades, the "drekkier" the books.

@Scifinator it was the drop down title that contained an extra space and was throwing my search off. So if your searching for “Amazing Spider-Man”, just type it out instead of selecting from the drop down box. Thank you though.

The search is pretty strict. I couldn't find Ms. Marvel because I left out the period, and finding All-New Marvel Now! Point One took some work. My experience was that you have to let the drop-down do the work for you.

I would like to think so. I remember waiting a three hour line and his scheduled nap lol to get the signature. When it was my turn in line and presented the book to him he grinned ear to ear.
