Just got my set after going to 6 different Walmarts....
Had a sticker on the cover & had to use a hair dryer to remove them from the comics.

The pitfalls of being the little tiny insignificant supplier in a relationship with a giant are endless. I once worked for a company in this situation...it put us out of business.

@GanaSoth - Great you got them. Hair dryer? You still doing the Saturday Night Fever style?!?
Good to see them listening to customers and working towards a solution on several situations. Since they are putting the barcodes on the back and there it lists the price. Maybe their display should have the price on it. And for shipping, maybe they go with top and bottom boards. I read two and looking forward to more in the series.

Haha. Naw, it's my wife's hair dryer.
The display does have the price on it, that's why I don't understand the reason behind the stickers.

Here's a pic of the display I found. Top right corner has the price.

I think the greatest part about that email response was that the online supply is sold out!!! That has to be a boost for the AA group!!! I've been online friends with Mitch Breitweiser for years and from what I can tell, I think he and the rest of the AA company will do their best to address these issues. They know what readers and collectors want. They had the commitment to do this when the opportunity presented itself. I hope they keep pumping out books!!!

I got mine day before yesterday from my online order... they came shipped in a bubble pack, with absolutely no support whatsoever... all four books have spine damage...

In case you might be wondering where you've heard of Bass Reaves before: Not sure about the original comic but in the HBO Watchmen Bass Reaves is basically considered to be the original Watchman. His exploit for justice were the inspiration for Hooded Justice, who was the inspiration for the costumed team the Minutemen.

Bass Reeves was the first black deputy US Marshal.
He was a bad dude!

That too!
Last night I was finishing the final Watchmen episode on my 1 month HBO subscription. It basically ended where it began...back in the Tulsa theater where the Bass Reaves movie was playing. I had to rewind to hear the name again, trying to figure out where I had seen it recently.
