It creates ill will and it creates a dynamic where customers hold their submissions waiting for the next promo. I can suggest a simple way out of this trap that will create goodwill and give customers more reason to choose CBCS for their next submission. Consider giving a 5% future credit (CBCS points) to all full price submissions. A credit that is able to be combined with all future promotions. Off-set this by eliminating the CBCS points for all discounted submissions. That way the full-price submissions don't feel so left out when they submit right before a promo discount. They will also have a decent size credit that will ensure that their next submission goes to CBCS. The revenue loss of shifting CBCS credits from discounted submissions to Full Price submissions couldn't add up to more than 2%-3% and that could easily be accounted for with a few additional submissions or a future price increase (they do have to happen from time to time). Just a business strategy idea for consideration. |

This threads been cold for a few days but hoping to get an answer so I know which promo to use. The 2 available are either $5 off VSP or 15% off if what @Darryl_H said above is accurate in that the 15% off will apply to the total amount then that would be the better promo to use as I have books needing both VSP and grading. So what I need to know is it 15% off the total amount or 15% off on just the grading cost? | ||

Hey @GAC when you replied yesterday I did not see that you added Darryl's comment. I'm still hoping to receive confirmation from CBCS that it's 15% off the total and not just the grading. |

I was asking about this also. According to the email I got today from Pam at CBCS the 15% discount only applies to the grading and NOT the total amount of the invoice. I was kind of bummed since it was stated otherwise in this thread. Just fyi Quote: Originally Posted by Murmonster |

Hey @MutantMania I edited my response from yesterday. I saw your post from 5 days ago and it did not look like you received an answer that is why I asked myself. |
