This issue is a reprint of one of Jim Shooter's best Legion stories from Adventure Comics, a two-parter illustrated by the great Curt Swan/George Klein art team. This has a nice Jim Starlin cover from his time at DC. I've read this many times and never get tired of it. Mr. Starlin took a few liberties with this cover. Saturn Girl was not working the mines on the prison planet with Superboy and the others, she was working in laundry washing clothing by hand there and Karate Kid (upper left) was back on earth with the underground heroes. The alien cracking the whip was just an ordinary human in the original story. Nice cover all the same.
