FedEX Sending invoices for Prepaid CBCS Shipping11568

| I figured I would give CBCS a shot and start submitting comics for grading. I paid for all of the return shipping at conventions upfront with cash. Fast forward to after I receive my grading comics back, FedEx is now sending me invoices for the return shipping. I contacted FedEx and they indicated that CBCS has to remedy this. Unfortunately my only recourse is to contact CBCS customer service. Virtually no one at CBCS is any help. Its been weeks trying to get this remedied CBCS dosen't seem to care. Close to $100 invoices are now in collection so I will have to pay them to avoid any hit to my credit. Rest assured CBCS, I will be taking my business some where else after this fiasco. |

| I'm a little confused about this description. Are you saying CBCS actually shipped something, that wasn't paid for via FedEx for essentially COD? And that fedex dropped off the product to you, but left it without getting money on delivery? Or, CBCS has not yet shipped, but instead of charging or contacting you, they've sent fedex after you to collect for the shipping prior to it being shipped? In which case you don't owe them anything, you haven't received any items. I really want to know, because I didn't think you could COD fedex and definitely did not thing you could receive the actual shipment without paying if it was shipped unpaid. If this were true. I could just ship stuff COD to people I hate all the time at the max cost and screw them over... |

| Something is weird about this scenario. If the package was delivered then can't be COD unless the OP paid at the door. Fedex wouldn't deliver the package without receiving payment. What scenario does the package get delivered and then payment for delivery is sought afterward? I've never heard of that. This seems like a FedEx problem not a CBCS problem. | ||

| Same thing happened to me when I purchased something for my job. I am active duty military and the idiots sent the fake invoice to my command. It looked legit but it wasn't. Even the military supply guys thought it was real. Just be careful. | ||

| We do not ship until an order is paid for and that includes shipping. Sounds like 100% scam, but until we are back up and running, can't check. To the OP, do not pay that Fedex bill UNLESS it has something to do with out of country duty fees. |

| I thought import fees at first as well but the OP seems to be from the USA so I thought otherwise. This being said, I am from Canada and I have received import fees bills from FedEx. After I call them to tell them the comics were always under my ownership and they were sent out for evaluation only, they tear up the bill. The OPs concern does sound like it's a scam though. I wouldn't be paying that bill. |
