CBCS Pressing Update11521

Have I told you about the time I dropped off 3,000 comics at SDCC? Scifinator private msg quote post Address this user
@Naurd123 gotta disagree. 99% of my press submissions are standard and not fast press. I have no problem with someone jumping ahead if they are going to pay a substantial premium above what i am paying.

All I know is I'm coming up on 10 months of waiting. What would be cool is when I do get my stuff back, they throw in a surprise of a free grading on my next submission. That would make me happy!

Pressing never shut down due to covid. Only the Dallas location shut down and I think that was only for about a month.

Pressing only shut down for maybe three weeks when they moved from Florida to Dallas and the Dallas office was already well open by then.

And regardless of how many of those months they were or weren’t open, people are still waiting up to 10 months to get their books back.

Sure new submissions are supposed to be down to about 4 months but that doesn’t really help the people who submitted their books back in December whose books are only now getting pressed

In my earlier post I was hoping to take some of the disappointment away from folks who seem to be waiting a lifetime for their books to ship. I'm trusting that they will come through on the promise of getting the numbers down now that they know what's at stake.

If what Daryl H said in my email is correct, I'm 6 weeks in to the fast press. So hopefully I see a change shortly.

Feel free to message me the details of your emailing and i will see what the issue is.

Just curious why my post is being ignored, as my emails have been. I have never intended to complain. I just wanted to know if I had the option of paying to ensure my order would move faster. And even on this thread...crickets. While others are receiving official responses from employees. What gives?

Keep posting brother! It took a while for me to reach someone but finally did. I asked to be upgraded to the fast pass. They are busy but will get to you eventually.

More than likely this is my last time I'll use CBCS. They are just way too slow and always something with them.

@fakadar the update from not too long ago said 16-17 weeks for regular pressing, so a fast press puts it at 8-9 weeks.

A couple of things. The new cases are extraordinary. Also after looking at my CGC pressing and CBCS there is a noticeable difference.

It appears that CBCS takes a lot of pride in ensuring it’s pressing is done right. Some of my .CGC books have flaws still remaining that should have been pressed out. The point being some of these pressable flaws are noted in the notes thus lowering the grade. So Kudos to CBCS.
