@Homer I don't think there was any malicious intent here. I think this was an attempt at humor to a customer complaining about not adhering to an advertised 5 week TAT during a global pandemic.

Does anyone know what's happening with our memberships? Are they being extended for the amount of time CBCS is closed similar to other yearly memberships like Regal Unlimited?

My order that went into Shipping on the 23rd actually shipped yesterday. Got the FedEx tracking and the grades are in my dashboard!

@tvphonehome610 - Memberships are NOT being extended, because mine just ran out and the CBCS site is asking me to upgrade when I sign in. So if I do want to submit anything right now, I would have to pay the higher prices for services unless I renew my Bronze Membership. I asked this question LAST WEEK on the "CBCS questions? Concerns?" thread started by @Daryl_H, but it was ignored and left unanswered. So we are being asked to renew, even though they are officially closed (except for limited receiving) and not grading, slabbing, or shipping at the current time, and they will be unable to operate again until an unknown time in the future that could unfortunately be several months away.

@esaravo @xkonk This question is not being ignored and is one we are discussing and have been since it was brought up.

We are working on this and all the other questions and concerns you guys have. Sadly, it is more than just a hit of a button, and we want to make sure that whatever we decide will work out for you guys, and be correctly in place in our system.

Add to all this the fact that our whole team is not together so putting plans I place will be frustratingly slower than normal.

I hope to have some news on this ASAP, and again no one is ignoring you guys!! Sorry, it feels this way guys!

@Darryl_H - I feel your pain, Darryl, I am trying to teach high science classes (5 different ones - Oceanography, Zoology, Biology CP, Environmental Science, and Honors Biology) to over 100 kids through distant learning, and manage a 25 student Homeroom (daily attendance and announcements). I'm recreating the wheel every day and making things up along the way. But when something is posted in a place where you are asking for questions, and no recognition of the question is even implied after 6 days, it is hard not to feel ignored at times. Overall, I think you go above and beyond for us all the time, but all "we" are really looking for is an acknowledgement (within a day or so) that the question was asked and that an answer to that question will hopefully be coming out on that subject at sometime in the near future. Your response above is all I was looking for last week. Thank you.

There has been a lot of questions about CBCS Paid Memberships, and how CBCS would address the time lost due to the Dallas County closure.

If someone’s membership expired from March 24th - April 10th, 2020 they can submit with member rates up until April 30th, 2020.

If your dashboard does not reflect the member pricing, please note it on your paperwork, and as long as the books are into us before the and of April, you will be good to go!

@Darryl_H I just received notification that my order is being shipped but I need to change the shipping address (it was my office which is still currently closed). I called but your new customer service line is quite literally useless. The guy pretty much said there's nothing he could do to help and that I just need to send an email. So, I sent an email and I got an auto-reply saying that you're "closed for the holiday". I just want to make sure the message gets through. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I may be off on this, but if you have the tracking number, you can divert the package via fedex to I think its Walgreens. And go pick up there.

I haven't received the tracking info yet. I just went through that exact scenario with a Hasbro shipment and it was a nightmare. 7 calls to FedEx, over 3 hours of being on hold and in the end Hasbro had to be the one to change the address. The item sat on a truck in my City for a week before it was finally delivered.

I have never tried redirecting a package, but the instructions in link looks really simple and since they are shipping to an authorized site, it would make sense it would be easier.

Granted, although it would be ideal if CBCS changes the address, I would look at the link as a backup plan.

I'm also interested in the new slabs. I was under the impression that starting in April all graded comics would have the new CBCS slabs.

I re-submitted a book back in February. I know with the current situation I can understand the reason for the wait. If there is anything new regarding pick-up that would be greatly appreciated
