@Jabberwookie Happy B-day!

@Darkseid_of_town I don’t recall ever having a problem with Mile High’s grading, only with their insane pricing!

We were talking about Blue ribbon digest Dc special 5 in another thread....Zatanna cover and story! So I went over to MCS and they had no copies then closed shop following day. So I went to ebay and checked....a few slabs, then I saw a nm/Mint copy offered for 20 all in and shipped. I brought it up and it was Milehigh, and they use stock photos so it wasn't even the book pictured I was buying....figured its 20 bucks and I could always get a refund.

I would have went slabbed but this was stated as being an entire new story of Zatanna and I sure wanted to read it so...lose copy was how I went

@Darkseid_of_town for the most part, the grading is ok. If he says NM, I just assume it's a 9.0 or up. I've not had any problems with the books outside of his struggle with reality when it comes to pricing. I only buy common back issues from Mile High. The one key issue I bought was advertised as NM and came back a 9.4.
I don't know how often i would chance it though on a key from him.

yeah that makes great sense, I am unsure I would buy something key or that pricey from him given his pricing . I was glad to find the book for sale, but I hope its as nice as billed

It is an archaic site to say the least.

Collector Darkseid_of_town private msg quote post Address this user
thinking archaic is even a kind word in this context...given his inventory and total comic holdings, if he were ever to get organized and have a solid software setup like MCS he would be unstoppable.

I've found the best way to search is to just put the title, then year. So for Uncanny X-Men, I just enter X-Men (1963) and it helps. It's a tough navigate for sure. I think it's still the same basic setup as the late 90s/early 00s.

The 3 March covers. @GanaSoth In its full, umm, glory, Gwen Stacy (when i was a kid read she died...) also made her rounds on covers in March. But here she is stealing DeadPool's look, complete with fishnet stockings ^_~ (Betty & Veronica homage cover)

The Thompson & Bachalo team has a good storyline (king DP!?!) and twisted, unique artwork going on to keep this fan caught in the DP(fish)net!!
Covers credit - Chris Bachalo - Mike Hawthorne - Philip Tan.

Picking up some Jack Kirby Goodness. The "Key" Books are way to expensive, but there are plenty of others that are more affordable and often times much more appealing cover work than some of the expensive "Keys"
