@daywalker funny thing is I bought them without looking at them, just had a couple of pictures on the ad. she had 65 books, (some I didn't show) she opened the door, I handed her the money, she handed me a box. When we were driving away my wife went through them, was pleasantly surprised

That’s the fun part is not knowing everything that you are going to get! It’s like Christmas!

@Batman66 Awesome! I've never seen anything on OfferUp that wasn't an obvious scam or ridiculously overpriced. You inspired me to look again just now and - yep - a listing for six random X-books from the late '90s. $150.

Apparently @Batman66 has the patience of a saint, I’ve only found junk on offer up as far as comics go.

A pretty fun way to spend $55 for sure, definitely more exciting than scratching $55 worth of lottery tickets at 7-11.

Well, I walked into the LCS today and the back wall and case were cleared of a lot of stock. It looks like Dale is back in town. I was going to hit some of the other stores this weekend on my way down to see my dad, but it doesn't look like there is much of a point now. Oh well.

AC 869 recalled beer bottle cover.

I don't care for modern books and variants, and Superman isn't even on my list of favorite super heroes, but I would love to have that one.

Congrats on all three books, @Studley

@Pre_Coder Agree. It's a great cover, and the moon with Brainiac's face in it offsetting the "normal family" vibe of everything else really sells it. I want one.

@CatCovers Yes, it is a great and very touching cover. And you're right, the Brainiac-moon in the night sky is in contrast with the atmosphere of peace and love represented below.

From what I understand,.. the SJW's got their panties all twisted up when they saw Klark and Pa Kent having a beer and reminiscing, and demanded the book be taken off the shelves. BUT... on thd flip side, it's perfectly acceptable to have a female on the cover with nothing but a thong and a sword, slicing and dicing a bloody trail.

Yes.....its beyond rediculous and makes absolutely no sense whatsoever! The world has changed and in many way, not for the better.
