If the viagra is working you should be well over a 9.8. xkonk private msg quote post Address this user
@Jabberwookie @Darkseid_of_town Thanks fellas. A mystery box was perfect because I sometimes want a variant but can't bring myself to order something every other week and have the shipping eat me up. I had eyed the X-23 and the Illyana but hadn't pulled the trigger, so this is a nice treat.

I already had one or two from that box and don't want one or two, so send me a PM or keep an eye on my sales thread if any jumped out at you.

Put a Wrightson cover in front of me and see if I don’t buy it.
Not a valuable book but I couldn’t turn down the 80’s attire.

One of my favorite covers from teenage years. I couldn't wait to read it. I couldn't afford it at the time but my older brother had a friend who let me read his X-men run.

Got a couple things from a mystery slab sale at Unknown Comics. I also got Wolverine basically so I could read it. The issue came out right when my LCS closed but before they stopped shipping new comics.

Got an order of books back...two of these were crack and press experiments...I wont say who did pressing, because I dont know the rules on it, but they do damn good work...
First was this book that is one of my personal favorites- this was an unpressed cbcs 7.5...it had a MASSIVE bump

Next was this(another favorite) it was unpressed cbcs 9.4...had a tiny bump

Next are two books that I have probably read about 100 times each, they were gouged and beat raw books, I was happy with these grades...

The last one is the sentimental favorite of the bunch, I bought this off the rack at the now closed Paras Newsstand in San Diego, CA...this comic had marks from tracing the cover, spine roll, etc...I'm astonished this got anywhere near a 9

As a Green Goblin fan I’m drawn to this cover. So grabbed it in NM w/white pages. Although I think CGC kind of was a bit lax on the grading...definitely a sliding scale here....

Always been a favorite cover of mine. Romita did a masterful job on the classic poses.

@GanaSoth What an awesome Cover! I laughed out loud when I notice the "Frankenstein" Character had ripped off his own arm to drive a stake in a Vampire heart

That's just too Much!!!

@BigRedOne1944 Haha. I know. It would have been better if both hands were clamped down on both wrist while he uses it like a club. I like that cover. It's a different style, that's for sure.

Reminds me of a old movie called "The Creeping Flesh" because there is a painting in that movie that resembles this style.

@Batman66 great pickup! I was eyeing that one as well. Unfortunate tear on the back but beautifully presenting cover! Those early Dr. Fate covers are amazing!

The justice league animated series really got me into him.

I really dig the way he was portrayed!
