Just arrived today.
April 23rd

First Appearance of Pinhead.

Got a Switch to keep my wife off my back.
This one hooks up to the TV as well as portable.

Bought a cool game for us both though.

It's a great book...took my copy to Dallas Fantasy Fair in 92 to have Gil Kane sign it, and he was ill that weekend and was a no-show sadly.... Wandered up to a table where there were two older guys pretty much being ignored. Had no idea who they were, but I introduced myself and the first man said he was Julius Schwartz...so I figured why not, and let him sign my showcase 22 bottom of the first page. The other guy was Martin Nodell, who I had never known of until then. I had nothing for him to sign, but he had come prepared and offered me a Green lantern 19 modern day he had done a page in...as well as a set of DC cards with three cards he had drawn.
Both men have since sadly passed away....great book !

Another day another yellow cover. I have to give my thanks to @EbaySeller for the heads up on this one. This’ll be a vsp for sure, I think it’s signed by Bernie Sanders, 🤞.

@Darkseid_of_town That's the goal! I "only" need a few to have any copy of the whole set; here and there I'm snagging some 9.8s for a chunk of the run.

This book (which I'll go to my grave saying should be a 5.0) was signed by Schwartz and Nodell at the Dallas Fantasy Fair in '92. We might have bumped into each other.

You are absoloutely correct on the right year and everything. You almost had to be there to realize the two were sitting together , same table and almost ignored at least while I was there with them. You are correct, we probably bumped into one another!

Another yellow cover new to my collection? I’ve had this sitting but haven’t completed my end of the trade. So you can say this is premature.

I'm a hard core almost exclusive golden age collector these days, but every now and them some Silver (or Bronze which that and Copper i actually grew up on)age books find their way into my permanent collection.

This book came on my radar when it was spotlighted among others in a piece about innuendo Archie covers, and now it's an INSTANT fave!

Has ALL the other innuendo covers beat(pun intended,i'm looking at you #16) by a mile imho. How did this slip past the code? Or maybe you just had to have a dirty mind to interpret more than whats on the surface
