Don't believe the cover (like why does Phoenix look so young?), but Professor X's brain gets turned into toaster strudel.

Good Dracula story and very good cover and interior art (pencils) by Bill Sienkiewicz.

A big shout out to @Cgroc09! Thanks to him I have upgraded my copies of #5 and #7 (which now means my old copies are available, so if anyone is interested please send me a PM). Take a look at these beauties!

When are you putting together pence and Canadian newsstand runs of UXM?

I can't afford too (still too busy upgrading), and you buy them all up anyway! But seriously, I only have a few Pence issues, and one or two Canadian ones that I've picked up when I stumbled across them.

Absolutely beautiful pick ups on those two books Ed! Kudos to you and your persistence on the great run!

My plan with the pence X-Men run was just 97 to 152 minus the obvious gaps due to not have a pence copy, but I may work my way back to #1. The Canadian copies aren't going to happen. I've determined just X-Factor, Punisher mini, and Transformers in Canadian. Maybe some of X-Men, but I can't see myself devoting that much time to it unless they show up cheap.

I really love that cover. I bought a direct edition raw about four months ago, it's on it's way to MCS now, graded a 9.8 (!) Really happy with that one. Such a cool cover. I think it's one of those, as soon as I sell it I'm looking for another copy.

It was a good story line and we should be getting to the underrated Paul Smith art soon, if my memory is correct?

Good memory. Paul Smith cover and interior art started with the last issue (#165) I posted.

Nice run of covers.

When people mention top X-men artists, Smith gets lost in the crowd.

He’s like the George Harrison of X-men artists.

I have 166 and one of my favorite covers is coming up: 175!
