Not sure how many here like to draw, but if you'd like to share your artistic talents this is your thread

Heck no. If you want to share a life size sketch of a flea, go for it LOL

I suspect Catman will have much to share.

I made this for a friend's Christmas present a couple of years ago

I think the texture on the base is more visible in this shot of the back

"You rang?" ...as Maynard G. Krebs would say.

Life size sketches of fleas are rare and I've never had the itch to do one, but I'll gladly post some paintings & B&W illustrations. Not sure if these have been posted on these boards before (some recent, some older), so please excuse any redundancy.

First, the oil painting I produced for the first FENCON program modeled on pulp art used in early SF digests from the 50's:

The painting is titled "You're Next" and has a post-apocalyptic environmental theme.

Here's a horror illustration (pen/ink) that's representative of my drawing style (you may notice an Ingles/Wrightson influence to my technique here, artists whose work I've always admired)...

I've considered printing an enlargement and tacking it to our front door to discourage solicitors.

...and here's a whimsical dragon piece (pen/ink) based on an idea I had that owes a lot to McCay's Little Nemo:

Note: I like illustrations that make observers curious about what the artist was thinking or concerned about what drugs were involved.

Here's a commissioned sketch cover I did last year...

Alas, the dragon isn't in the scripted story, but he gave such a good cameo that he's hoping for a call-back.

@dielinfinite Nice work!

I'm curious about the medium. Is it resin, bronze or something else?

I don't often share my artwork as I do it more as a hobby and for relaxation, but here are some samples of my work, all these are acrylics.

I already spammed the interweb with this, but my only landscape is currently on display in Vancouver if anyone wants to go check it out:

Here's my ink work on this Julius Abrera Spawn drawing. I still need to add some grays and figure out something for the background. I eventually purchased the original penciling from him (pictured below my work).
