From what I understand, the Copper Age starts in 1984. Groo first appeared in 1982, in Pacific Comics, and then went to Epic in 1985. I didn't know about him until the Epic run, so I'm counting him as a Copper Age character. Regardless, he is my favorite comic character created in the 1980's and in my top 10 all time favs!! He MIGHT break into the top 5, I've never really sat down and rated them.  |
