Verified & Witnessed Sig on same label?11380

How will CBCS label an issue that has two signature to verify and one signature that is witnessed? I have a copy of X-O MANOWAR #0 (error issue or what CBCS has labeled other issues as Ivory Production Variant) that is cover signed years ago by writer Bob Layton and artist Jimmy Palmiotti. Could get Joe Quesada, the other artist, signature witnessed in a few weeks. Will it get a verified label and note that one of the sigs were witnessed? Thanks for any input -J ^_~ (stock image is better than pics i take)

Red label, if you have 50 asp and 1 Vsp it’s a red/pink label, they should do combo color like cgc

Is that really red, though?

Isn’t that more of a pink label?

just a question: if you have a book like above and one would be verified and another witnessed..cant you just go up to the line with a cgc/cbcs witness where the first sig guy is located and ask him to verify the sig or better yet..have him sign the splash cover and end up with a yellow label? I mean, if the guy says "yeah..thats my sig" then wouldn't the witness have to accept that?
askin for a friend

@Watcher No, if the signature was not witnessed or mailed in by the artist with the appropriate paperwork the signature will not get a yellow label. Not sure what you mean by splash cover. Even pre-signed books sold at the artist’s convention table (see many J. Scott Campbell books) don’t qualify for a yellow label.

CGC might give some pre-signed books a yellow label, I believe they do that with the pre-signed Campbell books but the CBCS policy does not.

yeah..figured..just thought it would disrupt the entire premiss of witnessed vs verified so I get it...but also figured "what's the big deal if the artist said yes, I signed that " to the witness . I had a guy once (across the street mind you) that witnessed a sig on a book of mine and about a year later when I wanted another sig but had cracked it myself at home, he just said, "yeah, I remember...no problem" and I kept my yellow. not saying it's right, but common sense says why not if, if its legit?

I totally get that line of reasoning but the counter-argument would be that some artists sign so many books that you can’t really trust their memory to conclusively say they signed a specific copy of a book they might’ve signed dozens of copies of.
