Hi, everyone. This is my biggest block of comics for auction yet! 23 comics from modern to Silver Age, with Todd McFarlane, Neal Adams, Stephanie Hans, Alan Moore, Curt Swan, George Perez, Kevin Eastman, Josh Middleton, Lee Weeks, Artgerm, Mike Mignola, and Robert Kirkman! Also, Spider-Man, Superman, Batman, Batgirl, Titano the Super Ape, Robotech, Turtles, Zombies, and Hulks. Well ... a Hulk. Just one. But it's an amazing cover.

Here is the full list:
Batman Damned #1 10.0 Gem Mint. A flawless cover, sold for over $1000 during the hysteria. What will this one go for? Current bid: $205

Amazing Spider-Man 301 9.4 SS. Signed by Todd McFarlane, and a good opportunity to see where the Toddfather sigs are valued after his massive signing event. Current bid: $71

Die #1 9.6. BEAUTIFUL cover by Stephanie Hans. This issue has gone through five printings and has been options for a TV show. Check out the series here. Current bid: $46

Once and Future #1 9.8. This series is on fire! Issue one has now gone through it's 8th printing and has been promoted from a limited to ongoing series. Current bid: $28

Robotech #1 9.8. Unknown Comics exclusive variant by Stanley "Artgerm" Lau. Current bid: $17

Walking Dead Here's Negan limited preview 9.8. This comic is a limited edition of only 500 copies, peppered in random Image Comics 25th Anniversary Blind Boxes. Current bid: $22

Batman #428 9.8. Death of Jason Todd. A beautiful copy of a fantastic Mignola cover and one of my favorites. Current bid: $130

House of X #1 9.8 variant.
A beautiful cover by Shannon Maer for the Comic Mint exclusive. Current bid: $26

Superman #239 8.0. A great comic from 1971, this one was downgraded based on a printing defect ... a jagged cut due to a dull blade, barely visible on the back cover. Overstreet doesn't downgrade for printing defects, but sometimes CGC does. Current bid: $1

Amazing Spider-Man #12 variant 9.8. A beautiful and dramatic Adi Granov cover. Current bid: $21

Batgirl #29 variant 9.8. One of a string of Josh Middleton painted covers in this run. Current bid: $20

Batgirl #34 variant 9.8. The second Batgirl painted cover by Josh Middleton, who is HOT these days. Current bid: $20

Convergence Superman #2 9.0. Grader notes: "crease left top of back cover breaks color." Otherwise looks great. First (baby) appearance of Jon Kent Superboy. Current bid: $1

Superman Lois and Clark #8 9.4
. First appearance of Jon Kent AS Superboy. Current bid: $1

Superman #423 9.4. Last issue before the 80's Superman reboot, and part 1 of a great Alan Moore story. Amazing art throughout ... pencils by Curt Swan and inks by George Perez. Current bid: $12

Superman #205 7.5. Great Neal Adams cover from 1968. Current bid: $18

Immortal Hulk #19 variant 9.4. Comics Elite exclusive by Mike Deodato. LOVE this cover. Current bid: $11

And we also have SIX "City at War" Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles featuring Jennika, the first female Turtle. Issues #95 - #97, with the main cover and a variant of each.

TMNT #95 9.8. Current bid: $62

TMNT #95C 9.8. First Jennika cover. Current bid: $21

TMNT #96 9.8. Current bid: $7

TMNT #96B 9.8. By Kevin Eastman. Current bid: $7

TMNT #97 9.8. Current bid: $1

TMNT #97RI 9.8. 1:10 variant. Current bid: $7

Hmm ... still can't upload images most of the time, and it isn't working here. Any ideas, @TimBildhauser or @Jesse_O? These are all jpg files downloaded from MCS, so about 100kB on average.

Thanks, man! I appreciate it.

I have some really nice ones coming up in the next few weeks, too. Wolverine, original miniseries; Bronze Age World's Finest; Teen Titans #12 (first appearance of Batman Who Laughs); and I'm thinking about putting up a Green Lantern Green Arrow #76 8.0, which looks beautiful with white pages.

Also, a Strange Adventures #205 6.0; and an X-Men #101 7.0.

OH! I almost forgot ... I am thinking about auctioning off a BEAUTIFUL Tick #1 9.6. I kind of wish I hadn't got it slabbed ... the color on that cover is just astonishingly sharp. Never seen anything like it.

Those Turtle books are still a good buy ... less than the cost of a slab for most of them.

Here are some upcoming books in next week's auction:

Thanks, man! I was happy to see it go for a decent price.

You want a Batman 428 high grade? 'Cause I'll get you one.

I've got one at the grader's now, should be done in a month or so, maybe sooner. I love buying this comic raw, trying to get 9.8's. So far (in the last year and a half) I've had: 2 9.8's, 1 9.6's, 2 9.4's, and a SS 9.2 that was supposed to be pressed before it was graded, but I just found out it was never sent to CCS. (Unfortunately, I found out right after I sold it. Oh, well.)

I think I still have a raw copy I bought off the rack, but it is likely a 9.4 or 9.6.

Understood. Do you have a preference between the newsstand and the direct edition? Note: the newsstand edition covers a bit of text on the cover.
