While looking for some early Traffic this rare performance footage with Steve Winwood and Dave Mason popped up from 1971. Traffic reformed after Winwood's departure from Blind Faith, but Mason left after a short tour to continue his blossoming solo career. Here they're performing Gimme Some Lovin' which was a hit for the first group Winwood was in with Spencer Davis...

Crazy times!

Killer performance, back when this guy actually cared about music and had the superb vocals & second guitar riffing of Derek St. Holmes in his band...

Recently discovered this band...this music video is probably one of the best low budget videos I've seen this year. Mix of Metal-core, euro-dance with a hint of Backstreet boys thrown in there....not everyone's cup of tea, but it's in my morning playlist.

Watching "Metal Mayhem" on MTV Classic tonight. They played a song by Saxon and I just HAD to share my favorite song of theirs. They were one of my early favorite metal bands.

A band that would have been huge if they had released the album No Fuel Left For the Pilgrims 2 or 3 years earlier.

I can't believe how tight these guys are in 1980 and the sound on this is amazing for 3 guys at a very early time in the band. The words aren't even what we know the song to be today.

One had to wonder how good Whitesnake would have gotten if Coverdale hadn't fired Sykes.
