Got this today and found out, after almost 30 years, why it sounded like it was recorded in somebody’s living room

IMO, this ranks among the best of RJD's greatest vocals.

I’m really liking this new single. The last album was a little too screamy metal for me but this song’s got me excited for the next one.

Also, the lead singer’s definitely channeling some Harley Quinn in the video

Side note: The band released a comic alongside their Unforgiving Album back in 2011. I don’t suppose anyone has them and would be willing to sell

Jammin and lookin at the jacket of my Wish You Were Here, circa 1975, and I recognize the stickers on the case, cause they came with my 2003 re-issue of Dark Side of the Moon. I love Floyd

Blood on the leaves and blood at the root
Black bodies swinging in the Southern breeze

Pastoral scene of the gallant South
The bulging eyes and the twisted mouth
Scent of magnolia sweet and fresh
Then the sudden smell of burning flesh.

Here is a fruit for the crow to pluck
For the rain to wither, for the wind to suck
For the sun to rot, for the trees to drop
Here is a strange and bitter crop.

I love her voice and music. CC

Started my workday off with a three mile walk. Listened to the first Demons & Wizards album. It's really good. If it sounds like a cross between Iced Earth and Blind Guardian, it's because it literally is.
