These are from my April 16, 2021 order - all modern, no fast pass, 1 press, all sig verifications. Got 'em back in yesterday.

There were actually 4 books in this order, but one was a duplicate that's just headed straight to MCS for consignment with some other stuff (Joker 80'th anniversary Crusty Bunkers signed). These 3 I'm not totally sure about yet.

These are all Neal Adams verified sigs, it's good they were verified, cause I got them from his store

I'm fairly certain I'm keeping this one.

I am a sucker for good Vampi variants. Truth is though, this one is drawing me in not cause of the Vampi but cause of the monster. I dig the art there.

Fairly certain this one is headed to MCS. I'm not a big X-Men collector, and while I like the cover I dunno if I like it enough to keep it. And, at this point, I have plenty of Neal Adams Sigs.

I submitted a few books and this batch was an afterthought and it came back first. Ironically steve Borock just posted a thread " people, count your pages" at the same time this book was going through. Rookie mistake. This is a duplicate, just hope my other books being graded are complete because I didn't count them either, lol

Picked up two orders at the CBCS offices today.

Hoped a press might get this to 9.8.

Not sure what happened here. Must be something I missed on the inside, as the cover is near perfect. Looking forward to the grading notes unlocking.

Nice. Twice.

Picked these up two for $10 each about a year ago. A press and clean helped a lot.

Strange Academy triple threat.

I had hoped and hoped this one would finally break the 9.8 barrier for me. It's virtually flawless and I had images of 9.9 in my head. Alas. I'm starting to think there's a note in my file about not exceeding 9.8 (joking! mostly...).

Had hoped a press would help this one more than it did.

Nothing wrong with a fifth printing.

Had my fingers crossed this could get up to 9.8. But this book is so thick it's very, very hard to get away from those bindery tears.

Five newsstands for $5 each a few years back. The thrill of victory.

my presser cut me really short. These are supposed to be in hand for the steranko signing by 4/2. The books are supposed to be delivered Saturday so I hope they accept them.

If the "Due Date" is 4/2 then they took into consideration that the 2nd was on a Saturday and made arrangements to accept them.

Happy to report that after close to a year, I received my 6 Modern books, VSP, prescreen press (which turned out did need pressing) this weekend. They were all books signed by my favorite artists (David Finch, Clayton Crain, and Jim Lee) who were all at the same con a couple of years ago.

I am happy with results though there is one that I got a 9.0* which I knew would be the lowest in the pack but not that low and the notes stated the following

very light long indent line back cover does not break color
small spine wear & stress some breaks color

I don't see it but what are you going to do. Love the cover and it looks great slabbed along with the others.

got these books back, most were in line with what I thought, a few wth grades. I'll crack the ff8,112 5.0, uf4, Batman 139 and can't figure out why the Batman 251 only got a 5.0

Pretty darn happy with these two. I bought them on release when I was about 14-15. I never expected a 9.9 and was pretty shocked after searching and finding out that this is the only autographed 9.9 X-O Manowar #0 in the world, at least between CGC and CBCS.

Received back today. These were on the old 2-Day Modern.

MCS graded this a 6.5.

MCS graded this a 8.0.

The rest are from my PC.

Yes, I know you can look-up notes yourself. But wanted to see what they said. Says two inch stain (along with smaller stains) on back cover and a tape pull (also back cover). Combined with an impact to top right corner which you can see on front. idk, it looks really nice; but with that collection of stated issues could be a 5.0.

Just got this back yesterday, it was previously CBCS 7.5 but sent to get signed and pressed. It came back a 8.5 so nice upgrade.

I wish the signature was easier to see, it blends in with the black a bit. But that's a minor complaint.

Probably not worth two grades and paid signing but it's in the category of having done for sentimental value. It was a comic my dad picked out for me to get as a kid.

My "better than the usual stuff I send" order.

Got this in a trade with @starlord. It's my first GA book.

Disappointed to find this was color touched, but that's part of what you pay for.

Part of a larger YA lot. This bodes nicely for the condition of the rest although I won't be getting them graded.

Jumped on the Doctor Strange hype.

Dear Diary: Jackpot.

Finally had a moment to get into the office and open & inspect my completed submission. Perfect crystal clear encasements. Not one mar, scratch, or rub.

Nice work CBCS!

Also, on the personal side of things. With the onset of the pandemic, I decided to attempt a full run of G.I. Joe and used it as reading material. I diverged from my typical only VF/NM or better acquisitions to obtain #30-155. I was able to get most of 1-29 but there are still a few holes but I was able to pull the stories from the information super highway for those missing links so I could read from the start. This is the first batch back from CBCS.
