Agreed, they still look amazing.

First submission finally back! Definitely should have gotten pressing on the Spiderman 1 though as the seam from the Polly bag left an impression that I'm sure lowered the grade.

Just got these back today.

On a scale of 1 to 10, I'm about a 7 on the happiness scale.

Super excited for the 9.8s, super pissed about the 8.5s and 9.0 (got some of the dreaded check-marks). I think I'll just crack the low ones and sell them as affordable raws

A decade in the hole and a Crystal Clear holder can turn those gross old keys that were dirt cheap into some of your favorite purchases:

@GAC Probably the only reason I have it is because it wasn't worth enough to sell back when I needed money. Ironic how my favorite purchases from the past are the ones that had some kind of blemishes that kept me from re-selling them.

What we have here is round 2 of @EbayMafia and @HeinzDad's comic book hi jinx. From what I can understand 75% of these were MCS raw purchases as I'm only unfamiliar with the origin of 2 of them. This batch seems to be way more consistent and matching my expectations than my last personal batch. The CBCS crew must have gotten those green horns whipped into shape in a jiffy. These are going back to MCS but if anyone notices something they want you could probably pm the brains at @EbayMafia, I don't mind shipping to board members.

These are kind of boring but at an MCS 7.0-7.5, are they???

Not pictured is another 9.8 I ran thru with my last batch as a tester.

These were 7.0-7.5 as well..

A pair of 7.5's

I'm not exactly sure on these but I could check my records. I think one was an 8.5 and the other was 9.0. I know they were graded more proper than the others.

These 2 I know nothing of but it worked out.

It's good to see books finally breaking loose across the spectrum. It make a guy want to keep sending them in.

@HeinzDad The New Teen Titans Annual and Superman came out of my childhood Wayback boxes. Along with this one that you also worked on:

After @scifinator announced that he sold his 9.8 for about a billion dollars I found this copy on MCS raw for about $8. There were two copies but I think someone else on the forum grabbed one before I could check out my shopping cart:

MCS actually had this graded at 9.4 so I figured it was good to go, no press or clean.

@GAC I don't have plans for it right now, just found out the grade this week. I will let you know if I'm interested in trading. You can always try to tempt me, I think you know where my tastes lie.

My one disappointment grade in this batch. I love this cover but I'm allergic to 9.2 as a grade. Not sure why, It's just an awkward grade. Nobody chases 9.2 in any category.

After I bought a CBCS 4.5 HOM 174 from @esavaro I was inspired to pursue a nicer raw copy at MCS. But I've become attached to my Savaro Pedigree copy, so @Heinzdad has dibbs on acquiring this copy:

I hear you! Great book! That book always reminds me of my childhood...I loved that cartoon and every Saturday morning I'd race to the tv to watch it.

Actually, 9.2s are the sweet spot in collecting. They are nice enough to be really nice, but with a price that makes them affordable. I'll take just about any 9.2 Silver Age X-Men book that presents well. An added bonus is that the defect making them a 9.2 is usually pressable.
