Betty and Veronica cover may be the worst attempt at a mirror image that I've ever seen. Unless there are two Veronica's.

That issue is actually a backdoor pilot for The Prestige.

You beat me to it. That's all I could think was how that does not even look right unless it's some mirrorverse Veronica about to come out and kill her.

Got back something of a unique order. This is my first order that was almost entirely raw grade books because they were all unimportant and low grade.

This one is the only "I found it at a yard sale" story I have that's impressive in the least. The woman's sister had a plastic tub of comics that had been under a staircase somewhere. Some of them were almost literally glued to each other; I was the first one to go through them and I had to stop pulling some apart because they just tore and flaked. Nothing was bagged, let alone boarded. I got a few books and she asked for like a dollar each. This was the only one even close to being worth grading.

The rest of the order is a story I told back around Christmastime. My dad took me to comic stores and whatnot when I was a kid, but was never a collector or reader as far as I knew. But at Christmas last year he had some comics in the box of presents he sent. Apparently he had a few comics, and they were still in a box in his mom's house, and his sister dug them out. They were all beat up and are mostly unimportant, but I wanted to have @SteveRicketts do his magic (one had enough of a spine roll that I couldn't fit it in a silver age bag) and have them look presentable.

You can tell by the diversity of titles that these were bought basically at random (or that's how it looks to me). But if you're only going to buy seven comics in your life, this is a good one to end on.

Oh, and if anyone is curious how they ship raw grade books, it's basically the same as how they ship slabs. The raw grades are put in Geminis and then bubble wrapped just like they do slabs.

AAAAWWWWW shoot, no recourse. Ill gladly pay the shipping to and from for a re holder. I have always been fine with that. I wouldn't however ideally be placed at the back of the line, lol.
I deal with shipping a lot of things, comics included, just offering friendly tips. Basically I'm sure I'm not the only one having this happen and sending them back. Will spending an extra few bucks to pack keep the system from getting so backed up? Thats all.
Re Holders came back today. Taken care of as usual.

I think X-men 96 to 99 was a great run of very memorable covers.
