Some of you probably have seen that annoying thin white sheet of paper that is actually stapled to a blank sketch comic.
I have a sketch on one, but that thin sheet of paper covers the sketch. Do most of you remove it? Does that result in a grade hit?

They don’t affect the grade if removed. In fact, I think they need to be removed before grading. From my understanding, most blanks are produced with them but they are removed during production. Some publishers have just stopped taking that last step

If the viagra is working you should be well over a 9.8. xkonk private msg quote post Address this user
This thread is a couple years old, but suggests that you can/should take it off with no worry. https://forum.cbcscomics.com/topic/6797/page/1/complete-white-cover-over-batman-50/

I've had mine removed for grading from both companies 3 out of the 5 came back as a 9.8

My immortal hulk could have been pressed from a 9.6 to a 9.8 but the facilitator forgot to include pressing.

It might be annoying but it's meant to protect your white sketch comic

I have always been told to keep it on until it has been sketched.
