I've had 2 books sitting for 2 weeks waiting for payment. 1 still did not get paid tonight, so a buyer just pulled it off the market for 2 weeks basically. |

I had no way of knowing that 9.8 graded copies signed by Adam Hughes weren't what you were looking for. | drchaos private msg quote post Address this user | |

Once I've won a book at a comiclink auction I feel obligated to bid from beginning to end. It should be an interesting week after winning these tonight. I really do need to develop some kind of strategy both in bidding and on how long I plan to keep books before trying to sell. My current business model is faulty, especially when so many books end up in my personal collection. Maybe I'll focus on buying books with poor cover art so they won't be so hard to let go of. |

$400 starting bid on eBay and I was the only bidder. Pumped to have this beautiful copy in my collection: |

Couple of sentimental pickups from earlier this week. I bought both off the rack when they came out in the early '80s and still have the issues, but they're quite worn. |

Another one that I won a few days ago. I have a raw newsstand copy of it in fairly good shape that I bought when it came out in 1984. Decided to pick up a graded copy when I saw one available during an auction. |

My restored collection grows. It's hard for me to pass up affordable superhero comics that came out before the US entered WWII. With a cover date of 11/41 this book probably hit the newsstands 2-3 months before the December attack on Pearl Harbor. $170 feels like a bargain. |
