Amazing Spider-Man #6 (1st appearance of The Lizard) CBCS 3.5 Off-White/White Pages. $550 The label notes: 1 Piece of tape on interior cover. GRADER’S NOTES: spine wear & stress breaks color wear & marvel chipping to front cover edges, some breaks color 1 piece of tape on 2" tear top left interior front cover 1" sticker residue stain with tape pull top right front cover, many stains & fingerprint smudges to cover creasing & wear to cover edges, some breaks color The “Marvel chipping” to the cover is the most notable flaw to the cover but given these notes, this book presents very nicely.     Amazing Spider-Man #9 (1st appearance of Electro) CGC 3.0 Off-White Pages. $400 I don’t have note for this one, since I purchased it graded but the bottom left corner of the cover shows the most wear. The back cover shows tanning & there’s a piece missing from the top-left corner of the back cover.    Amazing Spider-Man #13 (1st appearance of Mysterio) CGC 3.5 Off-White/White Pages $500 GRADER’S NOTES: moderate bends to cover moderate creasing to cover moderate spine stress lines to cover water stain left bottom of front cover through book The water stain noted is most clearly seen on the bottom-right corner of the back cover.    Amazing Spider-Man #14 (1st appearance of The Green Goblin) CGC 4.5 WHITE Pages With the WHITE Pages, I’m asking a little more for this book. $1600 GRADER’S NOTES: light staining to cover light tears to cover moderate creasing to cover moderate spine stress lines to cover I thought this would come back 5.0 for sure. She’s a beauty. The blunted bottom-left corner may have brought it down.    Amazing Spider-Man #15 (1st appearance of Kraven The Hunter) CGC 4.5 WHITE Pages With the WHITE Pages, I’m asking $775.00 GRADER’S NOTES: heavy wear full top of front cover breaks color spine stress lines breaks color subscription crease whole book breaks color The flaws with this one are rather apparent. Especially along the top of the cover. The colors really pop, though. I do suspect we’ll see Kraven in the MCU in the near future.    Amazing Spider-Man #20 (1st appearance of The Scorpion) CGC 4.5 Off-White/White Pages Asking $400 GRADER’S NOTES: large, multiple crease front cover breaks color light, multiple stain back cover spine stress lines breaks color For the grade, this one presents wonderfully. Much nicer than the notes would suggest, anyway.    I also have a ASM #5 (Doctor Doom appearance) (4.5/5.0 ?) but I’ll get that one slabbed before I offer it for sale. |

Actually I think Burt signing the ASM 14 book brought it down from a 5.0 to a 4.5.  Seriously, Wish I could buy it as it’s one of my grails...Maybe I’ll give up 75% of my collection for a shot at it some day... |

| I almost offered to work a trade with my high grade x men 2, but slim is shooting for a TOS 39 and wouldnt want it anyways...the idea of owning the first goblin appeals more to me than x men 2 but.... | ||

| yeah thats why I never said anything, although it might be a thought that it would be easier to move an x men 2 high grade is all...if you find yourself sitting on the spidey awhile. My copy might well press out to an 8.0 and worth double the price you are asking, which would have given you some serious firepower against a TOS nicer grade. Anyways, I do wish you a ton of luck with it all and hope you get a nice TOS 39..they are neat books to own and not as common as people think |

| Though the Grader’s Notes for #15 mention “heavy wear full top of front cover breaks color“, I don’t think it shows very clearly in the pics I provided. With that in mind, I wanted to include this additional pic. Still a beautiful book, I just didn’t want to unintentionally misrepresent it.  |

| If you guys spot a TOS 39 with these criteria, please let me know: - As close to a slabbed 4.0 as possible. (3.0-3.5 is ok. I can upgrade later). - Off-White Pages minimum - Universal grade with no caveats on the label (no detached cover, tape, etc.). I’m hoping to do an all cash transaction if these ASM books sell. But, if I have to put some on a card and pay it off after they do, that’s fine. Dale Roberts Comics has a CGC 2.5 that I briefly considered, but it looks rough even for a 2.5. Any leads would be appreciated. |

| I just made a phone call to an old family friend who bought out a comic shop probably 15 years ago. He was in the market for some mega keys back then. I talked to his wife & she said she’d ask him if he has a TOS 39 & if so, if he’d be interested in selling? Fingers crossed. |
