The lesson here is don't give up on any character that has ever appeared in a marvel comic book. They can all become heroes one day. The nurse, the military liason, the little sister, give em all some time to grow into their full potential.

this morning when Kap posted the trailer for new mutants MCS had 42 copies of new mutants 14 offered in various grades, now there are 19 copies left... Tell me again how this characters first appearance even without her powers, costume and name wont affect the value of Giant size 1... ![]() |

@Darkseid_of_town I don't see many buyers getting gsx for her. They get that book for the big 3. |

I also believe that Magic sister won't move the the meter on GS X-men 1. While we're on the subject, am I the only one who thinks that X-men 94 is an over-valued book? It seems to get some association value from all the attributes that actually belong to GSX 1. |

@EbaySeller nope X-Men 94 is the first book written by Claremont and thru his writing brought a slow selling book X-Men into one of Marvel's best selling titles where New mutants, x-Factor, x-Force and X-Men would be published also classic X-Men that reprints the early Claremont books |

They USED to get it for the big three ...if the movie is bad it will stay that way but if people like it or they revive plans for it to be trilogy that is subject to possible change

Quote:Originally Posted by EbaySeller ![]() ![]() ![]() Len Wein wrote giant size X-Men 1 Len Wein plotted and Chris Claremont wrote uncanny X-Men 94 Gx1 will always be more valuable against 94 due to the new X-Men team. 94 is a big book as it's the first issue of the new X-Men run that would become extremely popular and create off shoot titles due to Claremonts writing. Gx1 is like amazing fantasy 15 X-Men 94 like Amazing Spiderman 1 A crude comparison yes. But technically the same. |

@EbaySeller now that's my opinion on those two books. And I'm sure others may differ. Giant size I believe has room to move. With that said 94s in lower to mid grades are being left dormant and quiet and may turn out to be a great time to buy now. Then again maybe not. The market is fickle when it comes to the new hot thing. |

They've been pretty darn consistent I would say. |

The book also contains like the fourth overall wolverine , with the 2nd full appearance as well. I always found it ironic that giant size one being both squarebound and white cover is a challenge to find or keep in high grade, and x men 94 has a black cover....which is just as bad. Conversely looking at 181....average art, a hot mess for a story and its one redeeming factor, the 2nd appearance of wolverine albeit his first full one... |
