FedEx sucks right now, as an aside. EXTREMELY slow; so there’s that now, too.

I also sent two books in August. They have yet to be in my hands, yet every time I call CBCS’s, so called customer service, I get the run around. I ask to talk to a supervisor, yet some how they never have one that can come to the phone nor call me back as I have requested. Funny part is the just offered a quick turnaround. How about finishing what you have and maybe you will have more return customers. Not going to lie, only reason I will use CBCS is for the signature verifications. Sorry CBCS, not happy with the service.

@wtbmok constantly, customer service is stretched thin and often worked by unqualified employees. However, the forum staff and community is worthwhile. Sorry for the issues, I had to just cut my losses personally.

Does anyone have serious problems with the basic grading and slabbing services, or does it typically include pressing and Signatures? I've really only ever used the basic services and never had any problem that wasn't easily managed, probably 6 submissions so far. I'm wondering if the more systemic issues typically involve the extra services?

Never had any problems with the grading part, but I submitted one along with the others for a screen/press in June and haven't heard word one. Nobody gets back to me. Very disappointed starting my second six months waiting to hear something.

It just seems that I should have something on my dashboard or some other word that they have my book somewhere after 6+ months.... Very discouraging..... |

If it was sent for pressing, you won’t. If they got your e-mail address wrong, you’ll NEVER see it on your dashboard.

They have my information right on the form and all my other books showed up on the dashboard. After 6+ months it would be nice to have some kind of confirmation that they actually have my book somewhere. I've talked to people on the phone and sent my form to and nobody gets back to me. Again, very discouraging.... |

So it’s one book on a multi-book invoice? That’s crazy the book is missing. If the book is by itself, it could have been misentered. My form was right, my e-mail was mistyped by the data entry clerk in their office. Maybe if i submit thru the portal, it could be fine, but anywhere else? Could be wrong.

Seems to be a common theme that pressing is at the root of most customer service issues. If I was consulting to CBCS I would tell them to either get serious about pressing or kill it. This idea that pressing can be in Florida and slabbing in Texas...well that's no more realistic than Grading in Florida and slabbing in Texas. What an unbelievable logistical nightmare. I would imagine it was only intended to be a stop-gap measure until a permanent solution could be arranged. Seems it's time to find that permanent solution one way or another in 2020.

Don’t be dense; diff locations only adds maybe two days over all. The problem is in how long each press takes, how many can be pressed at one time and the likely solitary person keeping track of it all.

Really though....why can't anyone respond to an email? It is now 2020. I can respond to an email in seconds on my phone. Is there really that much volume that emails are not being answered? Is it just one person? And to parrot a couple other people on here- the "help number" is ridiculous, I called about a previous issue numerous times and was told to leave a callback number and never received one. My new issue isn't that big of a deal(billing question) but I'm sure it delays the process... but its just alarming that there is just no dedicated reponse time to any questions. Weren't some of these concerns supposed to be remedied by becoming part of Beckett? |

I sent in 6 books for pressing/grading, they were received and invoiced by CBCS Aug 27. Haven't heard anything back since. Had no idea it took half a year to do this.. |
